Despite having been on Gaia for a little more than a year, I've never quite grasped the concept of having a mule. Does having a mule improve gold earning? Or does it merely act as a bank account so you don't get...tempted to purchase stuff when on your main? Or as security, in case you're hacked?

Okami Ameras I find that's it's fun to mess with peoples head's with a mule. ninja I gave two of my mules very indicative names, and one mule of me gets played "independant" we all have seen him today wink Muling is good: 1. You can get more gold. 2. You can use it for security. 3. If you get hacked you don't lose an account.

X3 I'm glad I'm not the only one that uses mules for all that stuff... but... >.> I have like... nine accounts XD it's a pain, since I use five for game-item holding XD lots of trades... the other four are old and I just re-found them XD

I have a mule for one single reason: I don't change my eyes / hair. So, when I wanted to cosplay as Heather from Silent Hill 3...

I see a mule as a basically a backup user in case something happens to your main account.

Mules are wonderfull. I mostly use mine for gold earning. When I'm low on gold I go and check my mule and it usually has a couple hundred, at least, which I can then trade to this account.
Also, you can talk to yourself, RPs, discussions, contests, bumping, quizzes, ect. to keep the thread alive and people thinking that other people are interested in it! (Even though it's just you and yourself xd ) Like someone else was saying, they can also be used to mess with people's minds. And if people get pissed off at you, so what?! You have the freedom of annoying people and messing with their heads and if they get mad, it doesn't really matter.
