ionno i tend to like similar anime personalities when it comes to favorites. dark, depressant, and yeh s**t like that. or the complete opposite.(mostly applies for girls tho)
i digress, i like Jin better

I like Mugen more because he wears his emotions on his sleeve unike Jin who remains stoic all the time. Also, even though Jin may be the better samurai of the two, IMO, I'd rather have Mugen on my side because he knows how to express himself whether for good or ill. Jin, although still cool with me, seems like a robot. Wait, wouldn't that be one hell of a plot twist even if it's not possible.

Because they are so different in personalities, I can never choose which one I like best. Both have something unique about their character that I really like, and both have something about their character I dislike.
I also think comparing two characters that are so different in personality and styles as to which to like more is hard to do. It's easier to compare those things that are similar when characters are concerned and choose a better one than two that are completely from different sides of the track. ^_^

Mugen is awesome! Jin is cool and all but Mugen is just like Spike from Cowboy Bebop. Are they the same voices too?
