Hey, we're back! I'd like those of who who are seeing this to read through the announcements to get a hold on what's going on now. The Story and Setting sections are currently undergoing rennovations. They will be posted ASAP. Until then, please continue to check up here before going to the current page.

*~* Scattered Elements - A Romantic Elemental RP *~*

Story:
On the world of Gaea seven grand kingdoms have arisen through the ages. For ages they were bound by strong ties of peace and the world prospered. This peace marked the golden age of the world, but all good things eventually come to an end. In a lust for power the land of the dark rose and challenged the world, an act that rippled through all the other kingdoms. The Great War as history calls it went on for centuries as the seven kingdoms fought amongst themselves.
History never truly accounts for how the war came to an end and what it was that caused the seven kingdoms to unite once more as they were in the past, but for the past three hundred years Gaea has once again known peace. A peace which now has become very weak and unstable as leaders form secret alliances with each other, the world stands on the brink on another war. A war that could drag the seven kingdoms to their own destruction…

Setting:
The Kingdoms are quite a ways apart from each other, and are surrounded by natural barriers. The Water Kingdom is surrounded by an ocean, the Fire Kingdom is in the center of a volcanic mountain range, the Earth and Lightning Kingdoms are surrounded by mountains, etc. The area between the Kingdoms is nothing more than a barren wasteland, with some forests amazingly managing to survive the First Elemental War. Lakes, rivers, boulders, and other natural occurrences still litter the Battlefield at random points.

The Rules:
Yes. This place has rules, too. There are rules everywhere you go in life, so here's some more.
1)Please at least be Semi-Literate. I'd like some paragraphs, people!
2)Please, for the love of all humanity: NO GODMODDING, AUTO-HITTING, and nothing that is "in a flash".
3)Romance is allowed. Why do you think I called it a Romantic RP?
4)I know you've all heard it before, but for the sake of repetition: NO CYBERING! TAKE IT TO THE PMS!
5)If you join, please try to not leave right after. It irritates me, and I'm sure it'll irritate those that would be serious about this RP.
6)If I disappear, don't worry. I've just been grounded again.
7)PM me your profiles, please.
cool Title your PM "Hikari no Tsubasa". Otherwise, you will not be accepted.
9)Appearance pics are accepted. If you can: try to link your appearance piccy.
10)Have fun!
11)I do accept cross-elemental characters now, but only if your character is a wanderer, or has deserted his/her country to work for another.
12)If you quote people's posts(like me), keep it to single quotes, please. I don't want the pages stretching.
13)No killing other people of NPCs(like the Kings/Queens) without the approval from me in the case of an NPC or from the person you're killing. I just want to know these things.
14)Just added! Any character may control any number of NPCs, but only if they relate to their character. Like for me, I can control any member of the Lightning's Royal Family, since one of my characters is the Prince.
15)No more as of yet, these things take time, as well as trial and error.

I'm not afraid to add more rules if I must. Let's try to keep it at 14 , kay?

Bio:The Prince of the Kingdom of Lightning, he is also head of its police force, The Sacred Order of Holy Knights. He is the wielder of the Kingdom's most sacred weapon, the Furraiken, which is passed down through the heirs of his family. This sword alone controls all forms of electricity near it, and it's powers are rivaled only by one sword: the Fire Kingdom's Fuuenken, which controls all forms of fire.
Personality: Ky himself is a slightly easygoing person with a strong belief in God. He will avoid a fight if he can, but once he enters a fight he will suddenly become serious and fight with all his might, whether or not he knows that he will lose. He is easy to get along with, but is very wary of those not from his Kingdom.

Age: Unknown. Seems to be of the Living Dead

Weapon: The shadows themselves. This power was granted to him due to the Forbidden Beast implanted in his mind.
Pet: Eddie, The Forbidden Beast
Appearance: Zato
Bio: Zato was really just another citizen of the Darkness Kingdom...until he was chosen to be the test subject for something known only as "Project Beast". He accepted, hoping that the money he would get would help him make his life better. Once the Beast was implanted in his mind, however, he lost his eyesight. The scientists, outraged by the failure of the test, kicked Zato out of the lab without his pay. Zato, angered by the failure of their promise, unlocked his newfound abilities and destroyed the lab, along with the scientists. After some time, his constant fighting weakened him and allowed Eddie to take over his mind, and with it, his body. Eddie now roams the land, searching for a new host to control before Zato's body withers away...
Personality: Eddie will viciously attack anyone that comes near him, and without question. He can use Zato's body to communicate with others, but it is very rare that he does so.

Bio: The son of Lord Badguy the king of the land of fire, and head of the information and sabotage division of the kingdom of fire's military. He has numerous spies and assassins under his command located across the continent. As of late the actions of the other lands have begun to concern him...
Personality: Cunning, Sharp witted, and merciless, those are words that most people use to describe Sol. He often keeps discussions with most people short and is far more willing to settle disputes at the edge of a blade than by diplomacy.
Other: His headband and armband seem to act as limiters to a strange power held within him.

Appearance: A Young man in his early twenties, Susano stands at about 5'9'' tall with a weight of 175lbs. he has short pale green hair, his eyes are colored a deep emerald, he has a small scar on his right cheek that he received on the battlefield when he was 20 years old. he most commonly wears his breast plate over a azure/emerald colored tunic with scale mail leggings covering the lower part of his body. On his back is a pack of Chu Ku No Crossbow Magazines, his Bill Guisarme polearm is also on his back, with the blade facing downward

Bio: A mid-ranking soldier in the wind army, Susano is a powerful warrior who specializes in both melee and ranged combat, he has fought in many battles, and has been wounded many times as well. his battle field tactics are much like the wind it self, one mintue it might not be there, the next it's assaulting you heavily before fading away again. he was forced to retire from battle for a year due to an injury to his stomach, but he has returned to fight against any who would threaten his kingdom.
Personality: Susano is a calm man for the most part, but when excited by the thrill of battle, he becomes a whirlwind of dangerous Zeal that can over take him, his enemies, and his comrades. After such fits, he usually becomes depressed for no explainable reason, before reverting back to his regular self, he is also known to be overly fond of women, gambling, and booze.

Appearance: long red hair with a green jacket,black shirt, some blue jeans, and some black boots.

Bio: Gweh was born in the fire kingdom. By the time he was 10 his parents told him that they weren't his real parents and that his real parents were killed by someone in the wind kingdom. Gweh dosen't want to start a war but he at least wants to avenge his parents once he finds out who did it.
Personality: sly, doesn't like to be messed with, calm, careful

Bio: Samantha may look young for her age, but she is nothing if knowledgeable and mature. With her long, brown hair, and bright, unnaturally orange-red eyes, she is the epitome of innocence. There is no hidden past, what you see is what you get. Her kingdom had been building up vast armies since the last Elemental War, but Sam had no interest to join the war. There were much better things to spend her time on. She just had to find it.
Personality: Spontaneous, loud, outspoken, and blunt to a fault. She knows no subtlety whatsoever.

Bio: Her father was an Earth Kingdom warlord, and her mother was a woman who seemed frail and always tired. When she was nine years old and her father had just returned from war, they were attacked in their own home. By whom, Bekkala cannot remember, but she was forced to watch both her parents die. She somehow managed to escape before her fate was decided, and ran as far as she could. She was found and raised by one of the ladies of the Fire Kingdom palace. She was taught the Fire element, not able to build on her Earth element, and taught how to fight with atleast one weapon. She chose the bo-staff. By the time she was 15, it was decided she would marry the king, who's wife had died three years prior. After nearly a year of preparing for the wedding, Bekkala disappeared. She now wanders around, still carrying some of the gold and jewels she was bathed in at the palace in case a need for money arrises. She was insomniatic following the death of her parents, having nightmares constantly. Eventually her lack of sleep caught up to her and she went from insomnia to narcolepsy. She tends to fall asleep at strange times in strange places.
Personality: She seems emotionless and her face always seems vacant, but her true feelings can be seen in her eyes. She rarely smiles, even if she feels happy. She tends to analyze situations before heading into them, always searching for the cons, making her slightly pessimistic.

Character Name: Momo Misuzu (mothers maiden name)
Age: 16
Weapon: Only power over her element.
Element(s): Light./wind
Appearance: About five foot, two inches high and onehundred and sixteen pounds. Has a very small, but not nonexistant, chest size. (Please don't ask.) Long, flowing silver tinted hair that reaches the back of her knees. Momo has pale blue eyes that seem to caputer the light within them, even in the greatest darkness. Very fair skinned and a slight limp, with her right leg one forth of an inch shorter than her left.
Pet(s): She once had a dove named Kannabi, but she few away and never returned to her.
Bio: She is the only child born between the lord of light and a mistress. She is not considered to be one of the princess' of light, though she is well liked by her father and shunned throughout the palace. For most of her life, Momo was a secret to everyone, with the exception of her parents. It was until her sixteenth birthday, where she was introduced into the palace. It was because of her mothers death (rumored to be by an enemy elemental) that one of many ties of trust where broken during the calm, and she was trust into an far more elegant way of life.
She is also the kingdoms goodwill ambassitor.
Personality: Momo is a kind, careing, younge at heart girl who likes nothing more than to just walk peacfully around a quite courtyard, gazing at the foliage. Not at all frail, but is soft spoken, shy and stutters, although she can be demanding and to the point when the occasion calls for it. She is very peaceful and quite content with her way of life, even if it's filled with hassards and debree. She always looks to the shinning sun, and not to the darkness of the glare. Appearing to be selfless, but the day is dawning where she will burst.

Announcements:

1) WE'RE BACK FROM THE DEAD! And no, we aren't zombies! I've managed to gather enough follo- er...I mean...dedicated roleplayers of this place to get the OK for the revival. We've been gone for quite some time, but I'd like to see this place come back witha vengance. For those of you who are already part of this RP and know others in the Guild, try and bring them in. The more the merrier, after all!

2) I'm currently a Senior in High School and my parents really don't like the fact that I spend a lot of time on the computer, especially when the weather's warmig up like it is now. So I'll try to get on as much as I can, despite my parents' combined hatred of my computer life (especially here on Gaia). If I'm gone longer than expected, I got dragged out somewhere -- most likely my grandparents' land out in the country. Not that I mind, but I'd at least like to let ya'll know before if I leave.
