Selaba lay on her back, staring at the clouds idly. She was thinking about the family reunion, and how nice it had been to see so many of her relatives. "We ought to do that more often," she muttered to herself happily.

Axel walked around with much on his mind and nothing else to do. he was still having problem with a certain new arrival and needed to get away from him. Sighing, Axel lifting his head up and spotted Seleba. 'Maybe hanging out with her will take my mind off things.' Picking up his pace, the red head ran over to the female with a smile on his face.

Selaba heard and tilted her head to see who was approaching. When she spotted Axel she rolled to her feet and started bounding towards him. "Hi Axel!" she called excitely.

Axel chuckled at Seleba's excited state and watched as she bounded towards him. "Hey there Seleba. I haven't seen you in a while, or atleast it feels that way." The male scratched his head as he thought back to the lst time he saw her. 'That reunion was crazy and those kits...' He shuddered at the thought of those overly hyper 'monsters' as he called them running around him.

In her eagerness to run to Axel, Selaba almost didn't stop in time. She realized she was approaching too fast and planted her feet into the ground, somehow managing to skid to a stop just before hitting him. Slightly embaressed at nearly doing something so clumsy, she kept her eyes on her feet for a moment she she lifted them each in turn to shake the dirt off. "I don't think it's been too long," she replied.

Axel went wide eyes as he watched Seleba skid to a halt. Backing up, he dropped himself to the ground so he was about her level. "Maybe you are a little too excited to see me even though in your words it hasn't bee too long." Noticing she was looking at her own feet Axel brought his hand out to lift her head by her chin.

Feeling Axel's hand on her chin, she allowed him to lift her head. She smiled at him as she looked into his green eyes. "Well, whether it's been a while or not, I'm always glad to see you," she said warmly.

"Yeah, glad to see you too. Actually, I'm really glad to see you. It's nice to be around someone I actually want to be around." Removing his hand from Seleba's chin he rested then on his knees.

Selaba scooted over to sit beside Axel and lightly rested her head against him. "I take it someone's been bugging you, then?" she asked him.

Axel didn't mind Seleba resting her head on him. In a way he sort of liked it. Sighing, he nodded. "Yeah, it is just some new guy, that's all. We don't get along so well. We just don't like each other." Don't like was an understatement. In actuality they hated each other, not it was beyond hatred which resulted in may fires and accidents, which did not make his care taker happy.

Selaba raised an eyebrow slightly. Something in his tone suggested that he wasn't saying everything. (Not to mention that mew had said something about Riris's house having been burned down because of a conflict.) After pondering whether to inquire further, she decided against it, and instead said, "Mew hasn't gotten anyone new in a while."

"Hmm?" Axel was broken from his thoughts of the new comer. "Oh yeah? I thought I heard something about her getting someone new. I guess not. So, what have you been doing since the last time we met?"

Selaba thinks for a momment. "Hmmm...nope, I'm pretty sure she hasn't gotten anyone new since...well, me. She almost took care of one of my nephews, but he went to someone else instead." She shrugged. "Anyway, I haven't been up to anything interesting since I last saw you. How about you? Anything interesting going on with you, aside from the newcomer you don't like?"

Axel shook his head at Seleba's question. "No, not really. That is unless you see one of the males in Ri's group almost going made as interesting. it was a funny site really since he is normally cool and calm." Axel smirked as he thought back to the day.

Selaba chuckled. "That could indeed be interesting." She didn't really have anything in particular in mind to talk about after that, but she didn't mind. She was happy just being with Axel. After a moment's silence she nestled against him a bit and sighed contentedly.
