Ever read the books and find mistakes in them?

In Laughing Corpse, Anita is attending the funeral of a fellow animator. There are a bunch of other animators attending as well. She goes on to say that he was shot in the face and no longer had a mouth.

"We could just animate him and ask him who shot him, but even Zombies need mouths."

And here I thought that zombies that were murdered shouldn't be brought back because instead of just talking it out, they'll get all vengeful and hunt down the person, no matter who got in the way.

Feel free to argue if you think this isn't a mistake, but if you've found other mistakes in the books or things lacking consistancy, please post!

I agree with that, and also, don't animators that are brought back as zombies go on a flesh-eating rampage? I forget which book that was in, but that's what the people-eating monster in that book turned out to be, a re-animated animator.

Laughing corpse. But he was more voodoo or something, and much more powerful.

I could have swore that when they first introduced Asher, LKH described him with grey eyes.
And then through the rest of the series, she says they're blue.

I'm not EXACTLY sure.
I can't check at the moment because one of my friends has my books...

I'll try and update when I find out.
But did anyone else get that?

There is also a lot of just plain grammatical errors throughout the books.

I think in the Harlequin, when one of the characters (Peter, perhaps?) is talking it does this.

"-------"/Peter-----

Harlequin had a couple mistakes. In one part Laurell says Sylvie wasn't a lesbian... <.<;; But in all the books before that she was described as a lesbian. And it bothers me. >.<
Another mistake, though not as big, is William's girlfriend's name. When first introduced, her name was Hannah. But in Harlequin it was "officially" changed to Candy.
There are some other small errors. She changes the age for Valentina from 11 to 7 to 5 throughout the books. Honestly, I think she just needs a good beta.
We read them anyways, because they are amazing. *worships*

Unless you mean a paint description of him from an earlier book, in Burnt Offerings in the paper back, on page: 63 near the bottom, it reads:

'His eyes were a strange shade of pale blue'.

There ya go! ^_^

Ive noticed a few of the ones mentioned, but for the books i have read up to so far, XD im just now on blue moon

But have you guys noticed the typos and odd things through out the book with the grammar and such, maybe its just me, I tend to notice things like this ^^;
But yeah I just thought it was odd how many there were through out the books, i guess mine would be considered second printings of the books, maybe that has something to do with it lol

Ive just never noticed it in any other books i have read *shrugs*

I always notice the grammatical errors. Her editors I guess aren't too keen on that.
I haven't noticed any storyline errors yet.

i forget exactly which book it's in and don't feel like looking right now but in either danse macabre or the harlequin willie's girlfriend is being talked about and she is called candy when her name is actually hannah. also in the same book sylvie is being talked about and something is said about "...but she don't like women" umm, hello, sylvie is gay!
