"Don't you just look adorable." Crescentia giggled, hugging Guin tight. Who ever thought that a two pieace could be adorable? It was green with little frills! Perfect for Guinevere!

They were taking a trip to a pool today, unfortunately Sera wanted to stay with one of Crescentia's sisters to learn to play her new oboe. Most people would go to the beach since it was so close but...well...Guin was so little! Crescentia didn't trust the waves and the currents wouldn't drag her baby away forever. At least she had a bag of floaties for Guin! The matching green floaty wings would help so much!

Guin stared ahead at the big pool of water in front of them, mouth hanging open. Woooow! It looked like a giant bath tub! And there were people already splashing and playing in it! She wanted to splash and play too! The little girl gasped excitedly and reached out to the pool with both her arms and legs, kicking gently as if that would get her moving through the air. Come to think of it, she'd never actually been swimming before, had she?

Crescentia sat down on a pool chair for a moment, taking the time to blow up the green wings and slip them onto Guin's arms. "Hm...I really do hope they stay in place...there's nothing holding them in place!" But they wouldn't sell these things if they weren't safe, right? This stuff is so weird! Guin blinked and flapped her arms a couple times, staring at these funny green balloons on her arms. What were these for? Oh well! The little redhead grinned and ran off in the direction of the pool, almost slipping in when she stopped short at the very edge.

On the other side of the pool was a girl who looked familiar. She had a horsey body! Hey! She knew that girl! Guinevere gasped, waving a floaty winged arm awkward at Kitsumai. Now...how was she going to get over there? There was this watery barrier between them and she'd never been in water so deep!

Maybe if she jumped in and swam across she could reach--oh no! She was gone! Guin frowned and looked around, smiling again when she spotted the horsey girl walking around the pool. Oh! You could go around it! "Hiiii!" She'd hug her back but, well, these wingies were a bit big and awkward for that. She attempted a hug though!

Crescentia was still there! Really! She was lounging in a pool chair, watching of course, but who said you couldn't relax and watch over a child at the same time? Guin was perfectly fine! It's not as if she'd be easy prey like most children who get kidnapped. Guin's a fighter!

When Guin was let go she waved to her mother, who waved a few fingers in return with a smile. As long as she was safe and in sight she could play with Kitsumai. "Feel free to play with your friend, baby." Yay! One point Guin zero points...uh...dunno. Guin grinned and clung to one of Kitsumai's legs. Would Kitsumai swim with her?

Guin gasped when she was picked up, looking around to see where they were going. They were headed to a smaller pool? Why were they going to the smaller pool? Was she too little for the other one?

When she saw how deep it was on the other children her size she giggled gleefully. It was perfect!

Guin giggled and hopped into the pool, making a little splash of her own with the water wings. Eep! She was being splashed too! Reveeenge! She fell back and sat down in the water, staring at Kitsu for a moment before suddenly splashing at her with a merry little giggle. Pools were fun!

Spash war! She was happy to cheer someone up even if she didn't know she was doing it! Guin was content splashing back every time Kitsu got her wet until her friend's attention went elsewhere. Huh? What was going on?

Guin followed Kitsu's gaze to the ball, gasping. A toy! But it was all alone...they could play with it! She stood up and waded over to the ball, looking around first to make sure it didn't belong to anyone.

Good. Guin picked up the ball and held it up over her head, turning around to face Kitsu again. Whoo! Guin held her arms a little behind her head then suddenly flung them forward to throw the ball too Kitsu, losing her balance in the process and plopping down on her bottom. Well that was interesting. If only her arms weren't so short the throw might have been better!
