Discuss why you like console/handheld you prefer best.
EDIT: Out of the current gen. Please leave out Xbox, Gamecube, and PS2. This guild isn't about them. This thread is asking out of 360, PS3, and Wii and DS and PSP, why do you like that best.

I like my Wii the best because Nintendo games are my most of my favorite franchises, my whole family likes to play it, and the motion sensitivity is fun.
I like my DS the best because I like Nintendo's franchises and find the touch screen's unique interface to be lots of fun and creative.

Wii, it has kickass games and features, I love the controller. It was cheap. Everyone loves it. That's why.

My ps2 for all the games I love are on it & it's predicessor. It's lasted 5 years roughly with me and has held up beautifully. It has the largest library of the consols and a good number of them appeal to me. (Such as Project Snowbling, God of War, Okami, Kingdom Hearts) My psp because if I ever decide to use it for anything but games I can watch movies, look at pcitures, listen to music on it too. Again, it's library of games is much more appealing to me, it's sexy looking as hell. Consols I plan to buy Ps3 because it's up & coming library appeals to me, I can still play my fav games on it, it won't die of red ring. It's also packing more power and hardware than the 360. The Wii because of the intuitive way to play games, and I'll be able to play all the classic NES and 64 games I missed out on due to the fact that my first consol was a ps1. PLus the wiizapper. I'm gonna have a blast with that lil bugger and 1st person shooters.
that's it in a nutshell

PS2 cause well lets all face it. It was king of its time and even now its still taking cheap shots at the 3 new consoles from the statistics Ive read and heard. It has a massive library and it has never fail me and if I never shot my original one in the first place with a Nerf Bazooka, well I dont think Id be owning the Subway Diet One.
PSP isnt too hard to figure out, Sakyh said most of the stuff I was going to say anyways. All that and I use it to hold files or programs I need.
Im getting a PS3 simply because, once again, Sony has Never failed me and well....That thing is WAY beyond its time and its uber cool awesome looking.
Im getting a Wii afterwards simply because well, its the Wii. Nuff said.
I own a DS already. It has alot of games I like, but most of which are kiddy looking in comparison to the PSP. I like it for playing when Ive got nothing better to do.

I like the Playstation 3 because of it's potential and reliability. Also, Final Fantasy XIII and White Knight Story. True HD doesn't hurt either, considering I have an HDTV.
I have no interest in handheld gaming, but I will be getting a PSP to use as an mp3 player and to connect to my PS3. Also, the Tactics remake and FFVII: Crisis Core.

I prefer the PS3 because the Playstation Brand has always had the type of games I like. Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, Sly Cooper, Metal Gear Solid, Kingdom Hearts, you name it. Those are the type of games that appeal to me and Playstation is the brand that has them. Also the HD experience is a very nice bonus since my parents got a 1080p HDTV back in January. The fact that I'll be able to install Linux too is something I love a lot, if I can get Video Encoders, with the Cell, they'll encode faster than I've ever seen any of my computers able to do.
I prefer my PSP because once again Sony just has the type of games that appeal to me. Blade Dancer, Guilty Gear, Daxter, Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters, Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops, Legend of Heroes, Aedis Eclipse, very nice games for me. And like others have mentioned I can hold my Music and Videos on it for on the go. I don't need an Ipod(Video)...unless I end up using a lot of Music and Movies, then I'll need it because of the space sweatdrop

Back in the PS1 days, Insomniac and Naughty Dog made Spyro the Dragon and Crash Bandicoot games, respectively. Well, when the PS2 came around, Insomniac and Naughty Dog dropped those franchises and I think THQ took them. Well, while it appears Insomniac will be holding on to the Ratchet liscense, that's because Ratchet and Clank was a resounding success. Jak and Sly, ehh, not so much. When I see a new Jak and Sly game from Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch, then I'll believe. But I know at least Sucker Punch is not that big of a design team, and seeing how complicated Infamous looks, I don't think they'll be able to maintain both franchise. All the better to them if they can, but I just don't expect it. Same for Naughty Dog with Uncharted.

I choose the Wii because I have loved Nintendo for a long time. Some of their games may cross certain people, but that is certainly not a problem. I have also been into Sega's games for a long time. Think Sega on Nintendo Vs. other consoles. Wii wins. Sonic 06 doesn't stand a chance. The Wiimote is truely awesome. Motion sensing really enhances a lot of games, and now parents must find someone else to blame for fat kids. The motion sensing is optional to games, so they really add to games, or in many cases have the whole game based around that. The Wii is also getting a whole bunch of exclusives I want. I might have gotten a 360, if I couldn't just play their games on a PC anyways. Then I learned about RRoD, they say PS3s are expensive but 360s aren't worth anywhere near $300 knowing that. I want to eventually get a PS3, but they are still too expensive, not enough bang for my buck. I'm not entirely sure what I would do with one either, not many games I'm really interested in.

DS, only for the shear number of good games to choose from, and the fact that Little Link, THE BEST LINK, is coming back on the DS.

Actually, I'm starting to believe that the DS is better than the Wii. What with its D/P and EBA and awesomeness. Not to mention it has the best online of all systems imo.
