I'm sure you guys have been keeping up on the status of Star Force's release? It looks good. There was a bit of confusion concerning Wi-Fi capabilities, but that's been cleared up. Star Force WILL HAVE WI-FI!

I'm glad they finally incorporated that into a MegaMan game. I have to agree, Geo Stellar is a pretty sucky name.
As for changing War Rock to Omega-Xis, I suppose you'd pronounce it like you'd like a Z as in Xavier (only in X-Men is Xavier pronounced "Eksavier"). But how does that tie in to MegaMan? At least War Rock has Rock in it - that relates to RockMan. But how the heck do you get MegaMan from Omega-Xis? I hope the storyline and gameplay is better than the names...

Eh, I suppose. But it's a little bit of a stretch. I mean, if your transformation has to have a name, you generally don't pick pieces out of the base names. Omega-Xis would become OmegaMan. But I suppose they'll explain the name in-game somehow.
As for X/Zero, yes, Omega is a character in Zero 3 (dunno about X). Omega is the name Dr. Weil gave to the entity he created using Zero's original body. He is both the first and final boss, and his final form is quite formidable. He is also an optional boss battle in ZX. There is a secret area called Area N. If you somehow manage to defeat Omega there (although they never identify him as such), you can get Model Ox. Model Ox not only allows you to look like Zero, it is also quite potent. It allows unlimited Overdrive and you gain various special attacks while in Overdrive, such as a lightning slash and automatic half-charge buster shots.

Omega-Xis, I figure, is suppose to fit in with the theme of the game. As for the meanings of Omega and Xi; They are alphabets of old languages.
As for connection to other games I believe that this isn't suppose to be one.

I know Omega comes from Greek, but where does Xis come from? Well, at any rate, I realize that it's a new series, but so was Battle Network, and they had Classic influences all over the place. Most of the characters are from Classic, including Duo of BN4. Tadashi Hikari is the Japanese name for Thomas Light, and Gramps even looks like good ol' Tom. They of course brought Dr. Wily back, as well as all the old Robot Masters, including GutsMan, and they even included Roll as a character. And don't forget Rush, Tango, and Beat - they've been included as support NCPs since BN3. So hopefully they'll have references to other games in Star Force, although they already have a BN reference in there, kind of - the battle system is almost identical.

I just reserved my copy of Star Force Leo today. TUS says it's supposed to be out August 7th, but GameStop's pre-order list said early September. Well, whenever it comes out, I've got one.
Speaking of reserving games, has anyone considered ZX Advent at all? It looks pretty interesting, especially the secret Model.

Silenfoot I just reserved my copy of Star Force Leo today. TUS says it's supposed to be out August 7th, but GameStop's pre-order list said early September. Well, whenever it comes out, I've got one. Speaking of reserving games, has anyone considered ZX Advent at all? It looks pretty interesting, especially the secret Model. Dragon, I'm getting. But my dad says it's not worth the reserve if it's coming out in September. ZXA? Never crossed my mind. ._.' Don't shoot me?

ZXA will be as good as ZX hopefully not as short as ZX.
