so far all the rpg's i've played are
Final fantasy 10
X-2
FF 12
Kingdom hearts
kingdom hearts 2
Orphen
And thats about it
Yes i do play a hell of a lot shooters, action, and etc.

hm.. how about Star Ocean: Till the end of time or the Xenosaga series.. those will keep you busy for a while lol

One that doesn't seem like an RPG but it really is in a lot of ways, 'X-men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse' (even my friends who aren't into X-men enjoyed this game.)
One that I heard that's really good that's new is 'Odin's Sphere'

Grandia 2 (it'll be hard to track down cause it's a moderatly older ps2 games, but it's one I hold near & dear to my heart.)
Shadow Hearts Covenant
Dark Cloud 1 & 2 (if u don't mind leveling up a lot before actually progressing. cause if cha dont, ur butt will b handed to you)
I hear Dragon Quest 8 is good
EDIT: Oh star wars Knights of the old republic is pretty fun. & it's on the pc. (cheap now too)

OR try soemthing thats not practicallythe same as all the other ones listed above or thats not turn based.
How about Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, by far the best RPG ever. It gives you unlimited possibilities, its as realistic as it gets, great graphics, great physics engine, not linear based [like FF, PSU, Xenosaga...etc] and tis gameplay and HUGE map is amazing!
And if you like multiplayer in your RPGs, Two Worlds [U.S. Scheduled Aug.14 release] is basically a gameplay ripoff of Oblivion with up to 8 player online capability added in. It will be awesome.
But if you are still stuck on this old cliche games that are basically all the same gameplay, try PSU. If you like repetitiveness like FF, Xenosaga etc...it is definitely the game for you. I cant even count how many times someone said "LETS DO A DERAGAN RUN!" on PSU online.

I totally recommend Skies of Arcadia Legends and Tales of Symphonia. I also recommend Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams, as it has multiple rpg elements in it. :3

I'd reccomend Neverwinter nights and fire eblem-the one for gamecube. Also Final fantasys 7-9, they're some of the better ones I've played.

Dragon Quest 8 is good. Its a refreshing change for when you're burnt out on Final Fantasy. I just beat Dhoulmagus. So happy. whee Baiten Kaithos for CG was good. Hmm.. Zelda: Twilight Princess is good. Sucks if you don't like the ultimate gopher quest though. Guild Wars is good, if you have a PC. It would help if you would have told was systems you have. I don't know what else to put down. sweatdrop

Star Ocean, Radiata Stories, and Grandia
are some of my favorites.
Oh!! And the .hack video games are extremellyyyyy
good!! The gameplay was the downside...but I was extremely
impressed with the series. I prefer the original .hack over .hack//GU, though.

Try some D&D games like Neverwinter Nights 1 or 2...Dark Alliance ((ps2 or xbox)) Morrowind ((anyone)) I personally like Lord of the Rings games.

1. Jade Empire
2. Edler Scrolls: Oblivion
3. Final Fantasy 7, 9, and 10.
4. Legend of Dragoon
5. Knights of the old republic
