I'm level 20 now and looking over the possible spec, I really don't want to spend the gold later on the respec so I'm debating between two trees. Destruction looked like crap, nothing I was interested in except Shadowfury and I personally rather have Unstable Corruption. Now the affliction tree is almost completely full of things I'm interested in.
Now demology tree has a bit more stuff I'm interested in than Destruction but it doesn't have a ton not as many as Affliction. I'm really interested in the Felguard though. I've always had a love for Warlocks and Hunters pets since I was a warrior. The variety seems to make me feel happy considering I heard you don't get to summon infernals much. I heard they're also really good for PvP and grinding and will get you to 70 quickly which I want however once I hit 70 how useful are they really I'm really torn between these.
Affliction seems like overall it'll be more useful in the end but Demology might be a little more fun for me.
I'm asking your advice on what's better or how useful the Felguard actually is.

Well, I'm sure this is talent spec help, so it'll probably be locked and reposted in that thread, but I'll see what I can do. ^_^
Personally, Aff is best for leveling till 55. At that point respec and grab your felguard and imp. corruption. After that, dump into w/e you want.
I like Aff for leveling simply because of the fact that you get some much health in return, while still doing a crazy amount of damage. You can get your felguard at 50, but going from instant cast corrption back to a 2.5 sec cast can be difficult, that's why I recommend 55. The Felguard is pretty much ez mode from there on out. He can hold aggro, while going crazy good damage while you set in the back dotting, fearing, spamming shadow bolt. What ever suits you.

Demonology is easy AFK leveling.
Affliction is easy multiple mob leveling.
