I have to say Silent Hill is my current obsession. The movie was a load of crap, but the games are amazing.
I have Silent Hill 2, and I am getting the first Silent Hill for my birthday from a friend. <3 Currently trying to get my hands on Silent Hill 3.
I love Pyramid Head. xd He made me cry cause he scared me. When he was following James and Maria really fast. He bumped into Maria, and my mom was watching. She was all, "LOL WHO DAT?"
I saw the pyramid, and after screaming I paused the game and cried a bit. xD;;;
SO PURPLE PENGUINS. Do you like Silent Hill? Or any other survival horror? (Resident Evil, etc.)

I wish I still had the games. They went missing due to utter stupidity on my part. ><
I rather liked the movie, for some reason-- I think it's because I saw it for the first time in my friends basement with the volume waaaay down so we could MST it. Good memories, y'know?

I hadn't known a thing about Silent Hill when I first saw the movie. I thought it was kind of stupid. And now that I know more about the actual seris, I find it completely ridiculous and not true to the seris a bit.
I'm not even going to go into how nothing was like the game. Pyramid Head shouldn't even be there, and there are no coal fires beneath Silent Hill. stare
The fandom is crazy. My friend is crazy about Silent Hill. She'll be all over your a** if you say something about it.

The crappiness of it all is exactly why we had to mock it into the dirt, methinks. It looks gorgeous, but yeah, talk about canon going ouch.
Mm, internet fandom is a bit batty too. Guys, Pyramid Head is not supposed to be in every fanfiction/fanart/fan production you make, as he is not supposed to be in every game either. But oh well.

I love Pyramid Head to death, but he is a symbol of James guilt and is made up of many things, which are suffering, sexual fustration, guilt and hating his wife.
Unless James is running around, Pyramid Head has absolutely no reason to be there. neutral Or unless the game is taking place way back in the day when Pyramid Head was supposedly an executioner.

Ugh, it bothers me so much when, say, original characters make their way into Silent Hill and he's there in his James incarnation. NO NO NO IT DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY.
I would love to see something about Pyramid Head way back in the day, just for the sake of canon, but no one else seems interested in that.

My friend got me into it. I've only played SH3 a bit but I've been drawing Heather a lot lately... :B
