Who: Chastity & Doron
What: random encounter
Where: Somewhere around Realm
When: After Chastity learns her sister & Terasu are mates, after Charity knows she's pregnant, & sometime after Doron's met Mjolinir & before his 'Aunt Ginny' has her own eggs hatched; while Ed & Lily are still out with Setsumi & Ronan
Why: *laughs* why not?
Hm... Ma was heading to Realm to have some time with Da, which left Doron up to his own devices. Which was fine by him! The mostly brown male flicked his swirl-patterned tails, bright blue eyes looking at the world around him. He met a friend last time he went out on his own (well, at least Doron considered Mjolinir a friend. He was so very like his happy-go-lucky mother in that regard) so maybe he would this time too!!
Brown paws thumped across the short grasses as he aimed for a forest ahead out of sheer curiosity. Those were different types of trees than those around his home! Maybe that way was where Lily had gone with Ed!! Doron missed his crimson 'cousin'. She was not good for play (boy would he be surprised to find Liliana had been playing with Edward while they were away) but she was sure good to snuggle with when nap-time came.
Speaking of... zzzzzzzzz. The male flopped to his side, flattening his banded ear while the other marked with swirls to match his tails flicked in his sleep.

Chastity made her way from home. Charity was now about to start her own family, and Nessa was resting or waiting for Envy to return. She loved her dad but she didn't want to be there when he returned. Just in case they wanted their own alone time.
She spotted something tan and brown in the grasses near the forest and perked up a bit. She'd do some hunting. That would cheer her up a bit! It usually did in any case. And if all else failed, she could always go to the lake nearby and swim for a while.

Blissfully sound asleep, Doron had no idea he might have stirred anyone to thoughts of hunting. His ear flicked, falling onto his head & covering his eyes as he made soft, safe-feeling sleeping sounds. Swirled tails flicked at their ends lightly, and from time to time a paw would twitch, as if even asleep the male was hyper, probably chasing something.

Chastity stalked up slowly and quietly, seeing the flick of the tan and brown of the other Kitsu's tails, not knowing that it was really another kitsu. All she could see through the bushes were the flicks of movement and color. Hunkering down, she grinned to herself and darted out of the bushes toward the flickers of color and stopped short in shock.
"Hey, you?" she said, a bit unsure of herself and waiting for the other to rouse out of their sleep.

Being any kind of a sleeper, Doron could be fairly easy to wake most of the time. Slow wake though, until his hyper nature kicked in. His ear flicked and lifted at the sound, twisting slightly. His nose started sniffing softly. Then one bright blue eye opened, Slowly at first, then followed by the other before both had to blink to un-fuzzy whomever had spoken. A kitsu.
Swirl marked tails started to wag happily and an awake light shone in the male's eyes. He should wake up away from home more often! Another friend!
He rolled onto his belly, a playful look about him. "Hi! I'm Doron!"
A friendly grin filled his maw, even as he turned his head to look at the female questioningly. "You okay? Look like you've seen a ghost or something!"

"I nearly pounced you, I thought you were food." Chastity admitted, grinning rather sheepishly. But she quickly overcame this feeling and smiled. "My name is Chastity, nice to meet'cha!"
She wagged her tails in response. He seemed pretty chipper and even looked like he was ready for some play. She hadn't really had many to play with since Charity had started making friends and a mate elsewhere. "Do you wanna play?"

He laughed at being eaten, or pounced. One was silly the other just fun. "Shoulda pounced! Much fun!"
He was grinning, "Chastity, huh? I like it. Easy to remember." Not unintelligent he knew what the name meant but did not really think about it.
Play? Bright blue eyes danced eagerly. "Play! Yeah! Sure! Awesome! Sere never wants to play! You wanna chase or race or tag or leapfrog or..." The excited male continued to list off other games that two kitsu with purely innocent objectives could play outdoors without a ball or toy or other equipment.

Chastity grinned in happiness. Her sister wasn't much for play now either, now that she had young, even though they were only teh form of eggs so far.
"How about.... we chase that little creature around?" she suggested, pointing to a bunny that had raised it's head at a most in opportune time. "It'd run all over... and we can attempt to catch it."

Bright blue eyes glanced in the direction she indicated & Doron grinned. "You're on!"
Catching something that small wouldn't be as hard as catching the smaller and able to fly Tien, who he often played with. Rising up to his paws quickly the male shook himself out as if he had been swimming then grinned, flicking his swirled tails before bounding off towards the bunny. "Try to keep it between us! So we don't lose our friend!"

"Friend? Well okay, if that's what you want to call it!" Chastity said with a laugh. She wasn't sure on the whole friend idea when it came to small creatures, being that most of the time, her family ate them.
But for a change of pace, she would keep with Doron and keep this one alive. She kept to the other side of the little rabbit, making sure that Doron was nearby and ready to herd it in the proper direction.

Friend in this case meant 'playmate' ... which the rabbit wanting to be or not now was in Doron's eyes. He probably would not be broken up about killing or eating it, for even as a house kitsu Doron knew he ate meat & that it came from animals. Of course he had never had to hunt on his own, but why should he with his 'Aunt Ginny' or someone else always around to make meals?
With a laugh he pounced towards the rabbit, sending it fleeing Chastity's direction. He pulled back, only his eyes laughing now, and watched the fun while keeping pace.

Chastity continued after the rabbit, making sure that it couldn't escape and chased it back toward Doron. She was highly amused with this game and enjoyed the company of the one she was chasing it with. Quite the game!
"Your turn!" she called, darting after the bunny and keeping it toward him.

It was a merry game, one Doron was enjoying immensely. He had never really played with anyone outside of family (blood or house) though his mother told stories of playing with Dementor's offspring & with Doron's father & aunt. This was fun.
He lost track of how long they kept that poor, terrified creature between them. The rabbit's movements were fairly easy to anticipate. Doron pounced to startle it back towards the female and...
Fell asleep midair. Just as he did the rabbit not seeing the potential danger hoped diagonally sideways from its current run, lifting high its little cottontail just before most of the adult male's body flopped to the ground on top of it. chocolate fur rose and fell into the easier breathing of sleep, banded paws twitching a little as if still trying to run with rabbit & new friend. Every once in a while there would be a sound as if something tickled and his torso would lift slightly as if something stirred beneath him.

Chastity wasn't aware until a few seconds later that she had lost both her playmate and the rabbit. Glancing back, she blinked and stared. He... was asleep? How was that possible?
Wandering back over she nudged Doron a bit and freed the rabbit, though she watched it dash off longingly. She had worked up quite a hunger from all that running and now it was getting away. Ah well, so it was. But she was more concerned about Doron than anything else at the moment.

Though he stirred a little when nudged to free the rabbit Doron did not wake for a few good minutes later. Casually -without any fear whatsoever- the sleepy male stretched in his sleep, yawned, and opened his bright blue eyes. Spotting Charity he grinned, rousing all the way and getting to his feet as if nothing at all had happened. Or this was so commonplace he did not even think bout how odd others might find it. "Hey Charity!"
Glancing around Doron looked for the rabbit, eyes becoming confused now & only now. "Where'd our play-buddy go? Did I lose him?" Disappointment that he might have ruined their game infused the last question & his happily wagging swirled tails slowed.
