(I know the character idea has been used in goodness knows how many anime/manga series but I like it, makes for more interesting scenarios)

Brief Plot Summary
Location - Central London, UK
A group of school friends accidentally stumbles across a magical device and manage to activate it. It releases a powerful entity known as "The Tristalsid". This entity was sealed in this device over 1000 years ago to stop it ending the world. Now it is free it desires to repeat the process without getting sealed away.
However when the device was activated the magical energy released fused with the students giving them each a unique ability. These abilities used to belong to The Tristalsid, however it is still extremely powerful. To regain it's lost powers it decides to kill the students, but fails.
As a result these students are having to cope with these new abilites, figuring out how to stop The Tristalsid from killing them and hoping their friends and familes do not become involved.


Characters - I'm looking for around 6 people, 1st come 1st serve

You play as one of the students who activated the Magic Device. You get one power each with certain restrictions due to the flavour of the RP.

These restrictions are:
-Your power has not dramatically changed your appearance, you still look human and no one would suspect anything different. Things like tails and claws are ok, they would just need to be concealable.

-These powers are not allowed: Vampirism, Lycanthropy (warewolf), telepathy, control over time, major telekinesis - moderate is fine, it is being able to move a person, but not throw them around much.

RP Rules -

- Starting with the obvious - No Godmodding unless under exceptional circumstances.
The only acceptable player Godmod is when someone gives permission as a part of their previous post e.g Gonna be away for a couple of days, someone make sure I'm useful and don't die.

- Warn me if you are going to be inactive - I will then have the character transported an alternate dimension where they are safe from harm, when they return they can say what happened provided it does not alter the character too much e.g. Candy Land
If you are inactive for 5 days with out telling me I will have your character knocked out another 5 days and I will kill the character - I don't want inactive people here.

- If you are unable to continue with the RP please PM me with a rough idea as to how you want your character to leave/die. I'll work it in as soon as possible.

- The RP quality of your posts effects the results of your actions - the better the post the better the result.

- Clearly state if you are talking Out of Character by using brackets and starting the segment with "OOC:"
I am making the assumption none of you fall into this category, but, I know someone who cannot tell the difference between In and Out of Character when we RP . . . it makes for "interesting" situations.

- All the guild RP rules apply, obviously.

- Main RP language is UK English (some spellings will differ to US English but I won't penalise, I will be using UK English however)
You may add other phrases in character to help with character development e.g. someone with Japanese origin saying "konichiwa" instead of "hello"

- Speach in "Speach Marks", and thoughts in italics and try to keep it in the 3rd person. Makes it easier for everyone else to follow.

- Post "I like cookies" for your answer to "Have you read the rules" in the character profile when you PM me.


Ok rules done, now a couple more notes -

I will PM you once I've gone through your profile. I may ask you to change something to either fit the theme better or to make you character different from the 3 other flying people.
I will post the profiles up once they have been approved.

I will have up to 3 types of segment in my posts:
1) [ooc:] general comments I make ooc
2) [DM] Any official decisions I make as the DM wll be posted in Bold under the heading "DM" these include resolving combat, any rules disputes and scene setting
3) In character - If an RP situation with an NPC arises (and many will) I will RP as the NPC. Goes under heading [IC]

The next post will be the character profiles. I won't start the RP until I get at least 6 people, then I'll make a post starting it. You can post before them, but not spam. All those posts will be considered OOC.
