Being in the stands is the hilight of the games, well besides the actual performance =] Our BD has his favorite 4 stands tunes that he makes us play over and over and they get quite boring. The sad thing is we never get to play our favorite....MOO JUICE! Whats your favorite stands tune to play?

Well, my favs are Hey Baby and Walk Like and Egyptian, but our entire drum section is obsessed with Watermelon Man, so we end up playing that one a lot.

i liked Hey Baby last year b/c we all sang "hey aimee" for our drum major, but we got rid of that one this year. (we got all new music this year...) we finally got a new eye of the tiger, so thats not so bad anymore. we're also playing Hips Dont Lie, but im a Christian and am like totally against everything that song is talking about..... and we got rid of aztec fire and everyone was sad b/c that song was fun and our other drum major would do this funny hand symbol for if. aztec= put hand like feathers on head and wiggle them around. fire= act like your holding fire in your hand....

Man, we played Aztec Fire this year. But we rotate trough marchingtunes, so we replaced Aztec Frie with a song called Canzone. Everyone misses Aztec, though, because that song was awesome.

All the Small Things is definately the band favorite. One of my favorite, at least for the basketball season, was Jump, and we played it every game. Louie Louie is fun as well. Though the band is more into dancing to caidences than playing >_>

You got rid of "Hey Baby?" That song, is, like, classic. Last year we had "Hips Don't Lie," "Carwash," some kind of Michael Jackson medley, and "Final Countdown," which kicked major a**. biggrin

Seminole uprising is awesome, partly because when we play it during the last quarter we always end up getting like five touch downs and partly because i get a super cool fast trill in their.

I don't know what our Stand Tunes are yet. We don't start Band Camp until Monday.
However, I know a favorite of the Percussion Section is Final Countdown.
EDIT:
Oh, I have a few now. This'll be updated regularly.
Songs we play on the field(Go to the 07 show thread for those) Back in Black Smoke on the Water The Jeapordy Theme Na Na, Hey Hey, Kiss Him Goodbye Dance to the Music Final Countdown Mr. Roboto

Let's see...our band likes Hey Baby, Louie Louie, Vehicle, the trombones like Shake, and Land of 1000 Dances. We all dance to cadences too. We love anything arranged by Tom Wallace, because that man is just amazing

Ooh, Band Wars! ^^ Those are so fun. Especially when we take it so far that we turn around and play. That's really fun. Our band is usually so loud, that you can still hear us.

My high school has been doing Land of a Thousand ever since it was formed...which is 17 years (i think). We always end up playing Hey Ya and Pretty Fly (for a White Guy) too.

We (The Trumpet section in our band) renamed Land of 1000 Dances to Land of 1,000,000 Fields. XP We're so random in our band.
