Okays, to make the long story short my one bf got into a four wheeling accident and is now crippled and is going through major shock and depression, the only probolem is I went to visit her and spend the night, but it was really hard cause I wasn't allowed over for almost a year cause my mom got raped (but the guy who did it was kinda friends with my freinds dad) they would say we are no longer aloud to have any contact with them... but Kat called me up crying cause she was in so much pain so it was really ocward spending the night, and who I used to call my dad and my second mom are now just Tom and Sue.... sweatdrop But I don't know what to do and not only that but it feels like my other Bff is just using me, but we've been friends since grade 5, but It seems she only needs me to help groom her horse or muck out her stall (wich I do almost all the work while she plays with the goats and takes out maby two at most wheel barrows then sits around and takes all the credit while I was the one on my hands and knees scrubbing the floors with disinfectant) and clean and condition her tack, and be around to help control penny for the vet and ferrier.... It's like she wont do anything for her horse but I'm the one stuck doing everything while she takes credit..... And I mean it's not the credit I'm worried about, it's her total neglect for her horse.. .I mean I can't always be out there to help take care of her, but how hard is it to groom a bomb proof horse, pick out her hoofs, and maby think of cleaning her stall and buckets (at LEAST once a week instead of waiting on her dad to do it, but he won't do anything cause he wants her to take care of her horse so she leaves her horse and wont even feed her to MAKE her dad do the work.). But I mean she complains about the danfruff, and yet I let her know to give her horse at least a half a cup of olive oil at least every second day, and she wont cause her dad won't do it in the morning, then I'm like well go out in the middle of the day, you can just give it to her without the food as well, and she still doesnt want to.... and yet months later complains it's getting worse and wont do anything to treat it.... then it gets to the point her skins so bad I couldn't even brush it withough her butt turning completely white and grey *this horse is a deep chestneut mind you* So I'm like okay now you only have two choices.... you can get off your butt and give her the oilive oil EVERY day or you can find a shampoo and conditionder that will help with bad skin and bath her once a week. So of course she chooses once a week cause it's not every day... :s well I'm like you do know how she is with her back legs right? *she's a kicker* So I'm just thinking now, You'd rather get your face kicked in then to go out and spend time with your horse? I mean I help her give her horse a bath like once a month or a little more but still....
Anyways, I'm TERRIBLY sorry about my little rant, But I'm not sure what to do and I'm in need of some help or opinions... Has anything like this ever happened to any of you *like freinds using you and whatnot* ?

 Alright. Well, your friend that got into a four wheeling accident, I understand that you can't help but feel bad for her. But you were there when she needed you most. Even if it was a bit hard, you found a way to do that. The whole rape thing wasn't exactly anyone's fault but the rapist. And I relize how relationships can changed quickly because of something like that. All you can do right now though is be for your friend as much as you can. Accidents suck....
And as for your other friend? She doesn't care about her horse really. It would be better off if you owned it in my opinion. If she doesn't want to care for it on her own, there isn't much you can do but keep caring for the horse. It sounds to me that even if you did stop caring for him/her, your friend wouldn't "have the time" to care for him and eventually, the horse would die. She also doesn't have a right to complain. She didn't do anything about it. I suggest you seriously talk to her. I mean, sit her down and be like, "Its your horse, not mine..." and see what comes of it. If she doens't do anything, I really dunno what you can do about it.
And I love rants.
