Ameriu, located in the Vespi System in the Outer Rim was colonized in the last age of colonization by humans from Dojouro. Ameriu stands at the end of the Dojourian Trade Route, which is a trade superhighway through the galaxy supplying the Outer Rim with the products of the inner rims. Because of that, Ameriu's economy is much better than most of the others in the Outer Rim. Ameriu's population enjoy a relatively high style of life and many businesses in the Outer Rim house their offices here.

Ameriu did not play a part in the civil war, but soon after the war's end, Ameriu requested the transitional government to send assistance to help them suppress a revolution. The government of Ameriu then joined the young Galactic Federation. Several years after, a Killik colony attempted to take over the planet, and the Galactic Federation responded with intense force. The colony was exterminated and the planet saved, though the cost to the population was great.

A colony of super bugs, that are officially known as Killiks, but unofficially known as bugs, emerged from the ground in the Ameriuan capital city of Churchian and began to attack the people. The bugs might have come in on a merchant ship and began to reproduce. The Ameriuan governor got on the long distance communicator and hailed the Divine Palace on Dojouro.

"We have our orders," Mana Landguard concluded, "We're to play bug killers." Landguard loaded his weapon with a dull snap, "its time to clean house," he finished, to cheers. "Go get ready. Today we kill!"
More cheering, as troops ran to landers. They liked to be ready.

It was silent in the hanger bay for a moment, after the launch order was recived. Almost hesitantly a dropships engines started, shattering the silence. After a second, almost at once, every dropship in every hangar bay powered up, creating a deafening noise. Slowly, as the shuttle doors opened, dropships begun lifting off, turning towards the exit. VROOOOOSH. The first few dropships tore from the bay.

Those dropships seemed to trigger a swarm as an almost endless looking stream of dropships raced for the surface. The force was headed for the capital city, where single brigades would land and siece several staging areas, where the rest of the army would land.

There was large pops overhead as the dropships breached the atmosphere already breaking the speed barrier. On the ships, Division one prepaired to be inserted into the city. The first dropship put down in front of the Governor's Palace and unloaded it's troops. Meanwhile, the dropship's quad laser cannons opened fire on the bugs.

The other three batallions saught clear space near the city to be deployed. With them were anti-infantry and anti-armour Mechs. Finding drop zones, the Mechs were lowered first, in a circle to cover the landing infantry.

The words 'IMINENT MISSION FAILING' flashed on he HUD of the soldiers in the dropship who, forsaking their safty, lept to the gorund. As they landed, their friends in the ship covered them as more dropped. The dropships swiftly disgorged their troops and the surviving ones fled. One exploded in the mouth of a Killik, hopefully blowing its head off. The troopers made a beeline for the buuilding, firing as they ran to drive the bugs away from them.

The other troops were on the outskirts.

The doors exploded inwards as a large Federation soldier burst in. Troopers fled inside, shooting at both sets of Killiks. The last man in screamed as he was about to be caught by a Killik but....

Target aquired. The mech of Battallion two opened fire on the Killik, letting the trooper fall inside as the Killik was struck by bullet after bullet. The troopers of Division one and two, with General Landguard among them, set up a firing line and opened fire on the Killik in a line of death, supported by both types of Mech.

Battallion Three and Four marched into the Square from the other side, deplying anothe rline and opening fire. AThey were supported by a few dropships which were overhead, pounding down with Quad laser fire.
