Mohatu had padded back to the lake, the summer heat was getting to his fur, and he decided to try to cool himself off. He slowed down, taking a quick test of the water's temperature. He approved of it, and started wading in. He didn't go too far down, so his head would stay above. All that he could think about was the water, and nothing else.

 The summer days were hotter than ever this year. The sun was behind you like a backpack. Unable to hunt in these conditions. Resting in the shade. Natsuko lie as she looks at the lake. Making sure she stays close to water. She doesn't want to lose her babies already. But little did Mohatu know that she had any.
She couldn't find a way to tell him. she could let it slide and pray for the best? No.. That would be almost like lying to him. She couldn't do it. She curled up and try to think of a way to tell him.

His nose, which was above the water, picked up a scent quickly. He identified it almost as quickly as he caught it. Natsuko.. He hadn't seen her in a little while, and was pretty much blown away of the irony that she was even remotely close today.
He looked around, turning in circles in the water. "Where could the lassy be..", he thought to himself. Finally, he found where she was. He quietly, or as quietly as he could, started out back into the surface, wanting to come and see her.

Natsuko's ears twitched as she scented Mohatu, he was even closer to her. She started to shiver and tried to hold back the Good News... Still trying to find a way to tell him.. Her head wasn't facing him. She waved her paw at him. "Hello Mohatu..." She coughs. Her voice trumbled as she spook.

With his fur still dripping with the water, he felt heavy, trudging for her. Hearing how her voice sounded, he tilted his head. "What's wrong, lassy?", he asked her, seriously..not with it. He sat down close to her, his fur still dripping. "..You look..different..", he told her, ..really, Mohatu wasn't in with the times..

"What do you mean.. Look different? Are you calling me fat!!??" Natsuko snapped. "I can't deal with the pressure!!! I'm pregnant!! Okay!! We have children!!" She sighed and huffed. Stilled curled up into a ball.

Mohatu was in total shock. "Natsuko..", he smiled, nudging her softly. "It's okay..", he smirked, "I'm not calling you anything..Natsu, your still as beautiful as ever," he told her, trying to make her feel better. "I'm just overwhelmed by the good news," he nodded again. "You want anything?", he asked her, getting up.

"I need food.. I haven't eaten in the past 2 days.. " She grabbed her stomach. Her fur ruffled up and she settled back down. "Maybe I need to move around.. But I feel so loaded.. Gah..." She rolls on her back, plopping on the other side.

"What?", he looked to her in shock. "You should be inside, where it's cool," he shook his head a little, "Let's head in, where I can get you fixed up," he nodded, going to try to help her up.

"But I was so weak... I couldn't get inside if I want to.." She tried to stand. But her legs were to weak to move. "Leave me here, Mohatu... I'll get up soon.." She said in a soft spoken voice.

"Hmm..", he thought it over, then an idea struck. "Lassy, hold on a moment, I can get you inside!", he smirked. "Stay right here," he knew what her comment were to be, but, he bolted off quickly, not caring for his soaked fur. He was looking for the pawn of a kit, of course..Jack Spicer. He barreled into the cabin he shared with Mythic's other two kits, looking around. "..Oh right..", he walked over into the new room that had been added only about a month ago. Walking in the darkened room wasn't a good sign, but, he continued in, going into the new basement for him. "Jack!", he shouted, from the door.
Looking up from his work, the pastey skinned kitsu looked over to the door. "Hey! I didn't let you in!", he growled, knee deep in his work, trying to work on updating his Jack-bots.
"This is urgent laddy! Now you will come or I'll make Mythic cut off your bots..", Mohatu snarled, showing off his fangs.
Jack tilted his ears up. "..Your..your bluffing!", he shouted, shaking his head.
"I don't bluff in serious times!", Mohatu yelled at him, fur bristling.
"Okay okay..", Jack muttered, slipping off his coat. He had a feeling he was going outside, and he let it fall onto the floor, walking up to Mohatu. "..So, what do you want..?"
"Just follow me..", Mohatu muttered, taking off quickly back to Natsuko.
"Hey! Wait up!", Jack yelled, shocked at the kit's speed. He didn't even have time to grab his helipack, and tried to take off to catch up to him.

Natsu was sleeping under the tree when Mohatu got back. The sun and heat made her weak and sick. She couldn't move or speak now. So all she could do is sleep. For her sake.

Mohatu hurried back to her side, worried as he looked back, finally Jack was catching up.
Jack panted heavilly, making his way over to Mohatu, he plopped down, breathing deeply. "Gosh man, what was with the..", he opened his eyes, looking to Natsuko. "..Oh.."
"Now you see my cause of getting to here..Jack, you've got to get something to eat for her," he trusted the boy genius, hoping that well..he'd follow through.
Jack looked to him and nodded. "I'll try man..I will..", he took off, hoping to find something edible..

Natsuko's ear started to twitch as she heard something near her. She slowly opened her eyes and yawned. "Mohatu? I thought you said you was getting something.."

He nuzzled her gently, and smiled. "Don't worry lassy..I did get something. I've got a genius..", he had his doubts about the boy, but, he was a..'smart' one..
Jack had slowed down after he was out of earshot. "Let's see..What would the boy genius do at times like this..?", he thought for a moment, then an idea struck him. "Aha! Make a peon do my work!", he chuckled heading back home. Mythic probably had a few meals set out for the nights ahead. One or two surely couldn't have gone amiss..including that this was an emergency.
