It's all posted in the GCP now, so go take a peep and comment or something. =D The Gods of Old
Long ago, Gaia knew the Gods, and followed their leadership to a successful society with little war and strife. This is a chronicle of the Gods and Gaia in recent years.
---
This thread is a project of mine to explain the plots with a twist of mine, mythology. In the future it will also include future plot paths, events and ideas.
---
This thread also supports the conception and growth of new theories, plots and explanations. I will always give you input and offer help with any plot things you are making. An underlying goal of this thread is to help make the GCP a haven for all plot theorists.

Divine Involvement in Current News
The Origin of Vampires July 26 (after first Manga and leak about Louie hunting brother and prophecy etc.)
Long ago there was a prophecy. It foretold of the rise of a powerful being, more powerful than any ever known on Gaia before it. The being would draw it's power from the blood of others. It would also have the power to share a small part of it's power with the recent dead. The prophecy further foretold that the being would resist all efforts to stop it, becoming almost invincible in time. The only things capable of destroying the being and ending it's reign would be rebellious son.
Not long ago, one of Gaia's most important economic powers disappeared. Vladimir Von Helson's death was always shrouded with secrecy. The general populace never learned what really happened, but they knew it to be something violent and terrifying. While Vlad was still a business partner of one Johnny K. Gambino, he learned of a genetic disorder, consuming his mind that would ultimately destroy him. He was informed that the slight tremours and twitches he had experienced through his life were actually the first signs of the disease he had inherited from his parents. When the problems reached a level where Vlad could no longer contain them, he drew out of the public eye and secluded himself. When Vlad's time came he did not go quietly. He clung on to his life, desperate to survive, to live, to rule. Corpora was ready to greet Vlad when he finally passed into her kingdom. She offered him what he had wanted so badly. She offered him his life back.
The deal was that Vlad would be returned to the land of Mortals but not be one of them. He would receive limitless power and be able to share some of that power. To retain his power he would need the nurishment of Gaian blood, and he would always experience a driving hunger for the blood that was his ambrosia. This starvation would be the price he would pay for his imortality. Vlad agreed without hesitation and Corpora returned him to his only recently dead corpse.
The gods above were horrified at Corpora's actions and sought to destroy Vlad before he damaged the world, but did not have enough time. Instead they added their own curses to Vlad's transforming body. Vlad received from Diurnis and Ignesco an acute weakness and fear of the sun, the symbol of their power. Mactus banished him forever from his kingdom of the dead. Aerarius and Viatoris made his face strike fear in all the living, making him forever alone. Divinitum made Vlad's heart weak to the power of wood. From Caelum came the most deadly gift, a promise that his death would come by the hand of his own family.

Divine Involvement in Plots Gone By
The Sniper and Johnny K.
Johnny K. Gambino always wanted his son to one day be the heir to his legacy, before his tower, before even Halloween 2K4. But he knew that his son was not capable of taking his place. Only the gods of old had the power to change that.
Johnny K. first sought help from Mactus, but after his refusal to interfere Gambino went to Corpora. She agreed to assist him on the condition that he use his power among mortals to create a religion that worshipped her as their god.
With help from Corpora, Gambino created G Corp. Corpora used G Corp to create the G Virus which had the power to make Gino worthy of the fortune he would inherit. Unfortunately, with the creation of the virus came the zombie outbreak and the destruction of G Corp. When Gino lost his memory, Gambino lost faith in Corpora.
When Johnny K. laughed in Corpora's face by turning the tower she helped build and maintain into his Skyscraper of Babel, Corpora sent her servant (the Sniper) to destroy Gambino and send him to her kingdom of the dishonored dead. Unfortunately for Corpora, she had underestimated the power she had created in the virus and it saved Gambino's life, saving him from her wrath. As Gambino's body fell, his spirit stayed with it. When Corpora did not receive his spirit in her kingdom, she smashed his tower to the ground, aiming for Durem just to cause more havoc among the pitiful unbelievers.
---
The Sniper and Ian (originally posted in the x lives thread)
In a bout of rage at her failure with Gambino, Corpora recruited Gravare to take revenge on Gaia through the well-known and loved Ian. They had planned the set up of Ian, and that's why the evidence was so damning.
Corpora and Gravare were expecting Ian to recieve the life sentence or death penalty. When Ian was released, Corpora was enraged and sent one of her servants to dispose of Ian and send him to her Kingdom. Ian's innocence of his crime and his love for Sasha kept his death honorable, a blind oversight on Corpora's part. Upon his death, Ian was brought to Mactus' kingdom of the honored dead. Mactus knew he did not belong there, and Ian was sent back to Gaia and survived his scrape with the Sniper.
The Sniper (Corpora's servant) recieved the power of flight, which explains the high angle the shot at Ian had. It's not possible for a Sniper to be high enough and close enough to the scene of the crime without being in the air. See Reference Pic #1.
As a reward for his perseverance and strength of soul, Diurnis gave Ian the Diamond Seashell.

The Zurg "Invasion"
Years back, before we inhabited this land, while the planet Gaia was still a raging volcano covered desert, the gods ruled. They lived at relative peace with one another, ruling everything that existed, all happy with the primal and unintelligent planets they had created. All happy except one. Caelum longed for more company than her six comrades and their seven counterparts. She decided one day to make a race of more or less intelligent beings and with them created the beginnings of a civilisation. Diurnis was enraged that Caelum had given life (part of his domain) to a lesser race than the gods. He forbade Caelum, then later any of the gods from leading these 'Zurg'.
Thousands of years later the Zurg were a prosperous civilisation that practically worshipped it's technology, being devoid of any real religion. When Diurnis saw the potential of the Zurg that he had wasted by forbidding the gods to get involved, he revealed himself to the Zurg. The Zurg were enraged that the gods had forsaken them, leaving them to deal with unnessecary hardship alone.
After this debacle, Diurnis joined together with his six comrade gods to create a new race of semi-intelligent beings that they would lead to prosperity. Just before the new 'Gaians' reached the prosperous age the Zurg had met the gods in, they left the old ways of the gods to strike out on their own. Just when the situation seemed it could not get more frustrating for the gods, the Zurg discovered Gaia to spread the word of the Gods' cruelty. They never guessed how the influence of the Gods Below* would affect them. The Gods Above thought it would be wrong to intervene yet again, but the Gods Below (specifically Edacitus and Excisio) thought it would be wonderful fun. The Zurg gradually and unwittingly turned against each other. Eventually Mother and the scientists who studied the gods realised it was the gods' doing and it did not affect the Gaians as much because they had evolved with the gods' influence surrounding them.
Fearing more corruption Mother chose to withdraw from Gaia, vowing to one day return and get the Zurg's revenge.

*The influence of the Gods Below was termed by Gaians and Zurg 'DARKNRGY'. The opposite of this would be 'LIGHTNRGY' or indirect influence of the Gods Above.

Input and the Future
Suggestions
I am a very lazy person, and I often lack the imagination and inspiration it took to make this and it will take to improve it. For this reason, I want people to tell me what should be done. I don't care if it's as vague as what plot should be explained or as specific as changing the way I worded a sentence to make it clearer. Vague suggestions and opinions help me gauge what people would like to see. Very specific things help me make this a better plot/theory/plot theory. Everything helps, so tell me. >=U Now.

Questions
Questions are welcome and encouraged. If you don't understand something just ask. If you have a question about something that isn't here (like "Which god rules over -insert sin or whatever-?), feel even more free to ask, because these will help improve the thread. Commonly asked questions will be posted here.

Coming Attractions
When I make a decision on what to do next, it will be posted in here, in no specific order.

Finito. This is the thread I'd like to copy straight into the GCD, so it will be edited a great deal. Next step is to add gods to the VH and Edmund quests. =D
Any input?
Also, someone please move the old gods thread to the old and locked subforum. RESERVATO

I still wish it could be in the GCD. Dx Perhaps I can just put it in the GCD first. Then at least someone will see it before it moves.

Blind Dog Pride Can the original God thread be deleted/moved now? And awesomeness, it's still amazing. Yeah, it should go to the locked subforum.
But of course it's awesome. I work that way. I write more than I research. xD
Edit; I also have tons of time today, so I'll do the current plot up until now later. <3
