Shouyin entered the arena, still wearing his black Wu-Tang karate gi.
"Mayn, not even moving and I still can't be stopped!"

Crawley dropped down into a crouch and stood up straight. Still looking like ... (his av.. minus tie.)

Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch'intrate. "What the... Reiko!?" he said while squinting at his opponent. It seemed like his old nemesis (though maybe a little leaner), but something didn't quite click, as if it was a brother or son, or just a close relative. Maybe it was just a coincidence, however the similarities were almost too startling for that. Maybe they didn't look alike at all, and what made them seem so similar was the air around them; their fighting spirit.
Nevertheless, he dropped his left foot back, taking his regular old fighting stance: feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, lead toe and rear heel in line with his center, rear hand held loosely open in front of the chin, and lead hand parallel with it in a fist, held maybe half a foot or more in front of the shoulder. Breathing steady, body loose, eyes wary.
'Cause if this was Reiko, Shou would have to be ******** -ready-.

"Not quite. But you are on the right track."
Crawley mirrored Shouyin's stance, meaning his was orthodox in contrast. And he moved in, staying just barely within Shouyin's reach.

"Eh?" Not wanting to waste time despite his confusion, Shouyin took a step forward and to the right 45ยบ with his lead foot, obtaining a more comfortable range for striking as his rear foot followed, the heel rotating about twenty degrees counter-clockwise and rising up off the ground so the bare sole of his foot slid across the grating that made up the arena floor.
In time with the step of his right foot, he'd throw a sort of 'hooking' straight punch. He aimed to come over top Crawley's left arm with the stone fist and catch him in the left side of the jaw. His rear hand would draw back and raise up a little, so his palm was floating to the left side of his face.

Crawley raised his elbow up high and leaned his torso away from it slightly, letting the fist smash and bypass against his upper arm. Assuming it was smooth.. if not, then it scraped his shirt and arm a bit.
He immediately responded with a right hook then a left straight punch. Sliding his right foot back just slightly, followed by his left to pull out just a bit in one smooth motion.
Then a right roundhouse kick would careening in after that "pause". Shin set to smash into Shouyin's left side.

Smooth it was, and smooth it would be as it gripped Crawley's shoulder, pulling him in towards the horizontal inwards elbow Shouyin threw for the bridge of the man's nose.
The hook would probably hit beforehand, but he'd take it with a swift exhale and tensed abs underneath the heavyweight material of the gi, shrugging it off for the sake of dealing more damage in return.

Shouyin Smooth it was, and smooth it would be as it gripped Crawley's shoulder, pulling him in towards the horizontal inwards elbow Shouyin threw for the bridge of the man's nose. Bam. And then Shouyin would catch a flash of Crawley's pearlies as he gritted his teeth and squinted his eyes in response to the blow. Immediately Mr. C clasped his right hand around the back of Shouyin's neck for a single collar tie, and then pushed Shouyin's right arm up to take a single underhook with his left arm on that side. Putting them both in a very close and tight clinch with Crawley currently in the controlling position. He began manipulating Shouyin by forcing him to rotate along with Crawley counter-clockwise....

Tch, lil' grappler. Well, the guy was only like an inch shorter than Shou, but he was outweighed to the max, something our man was probably going to have to use to his advantage. Didn't much need some skinny black guy all trying to crawl around him anyways.
Holding his elbow out there, he'd rotate his forearm in a little and aim to get it underneath Crawley's chin, pushing the man back by shoving against his throat and loosening the clinch. At the same time he'd grip the man's left shoulder with his left hand, securing that forearm.
Shouyin would resist his opponent's rotation by securing his weight on his lead foot and pulling the man in (by the two-handed grip on his left shoulder) and to his own left, basically meeting force with force and aiming to come out on top as he threw a left knee for the right side of Crawley's floating ribs.

Shouyin Holding his elbow out there, he'd rotate his forearm in a little and aim to get it underneath Crawley's chin Decoy. Immediately Crawley stepped out to Shouyin's right while maintaining the underhook. He did this while pushing off SOTAN KANG's left bicep with his right arm, preventing any stoppage. He was still really close to the guy. The way he was facing was perpendicular to the way Shouyin was facing. Shouyin's stone arm was draped over Crawley's left shoulder while Crawley's left hand pushed into the back of the right shoulder. This side of the body.. for the time being.. or at least until Shouyin moved around to face Crawley again... would be a point of vulnerability and control. From this position Mr. C fired off a short right uppercut at Shouyin's chin. Straight from the hip as if taking pot shots. If he burried his chin then it would just hit him in the face. Crawley'd follow up with another quick uppercut. If Shouyin blocked it with his left arm then Crawley would switch to a short hook that was slightly above where the arm was blocking and aimed more at the face. And things would continue this way unless Shouyin manage to maneuver around to face Crawley again.

"Ch'!" Shouyin would reach behind Crawley's left shoulder with the stone arm, taking an overhook. He'd pull with this to his right as he stepped around with his rear foot, still in a side stance, but facing more towards his opponent, keeping balanced while holding his left arm back, and therefore free.
Then Crawley's knuckles went and rapped off his chin. His jaw was clenched, as was proper in a fight, but it was still a bother. He'd bring in his left hand, catching the next uppercut in his palm before the man switched it up, going for a hook over top of his arm. He'd probably take this punch as well, but in a pre-emptive sort of counter he'd shoot out his left hand, sticking out his index and ring fingers to poke Crawley in the eyes.

Well. Perceiving it as a punch helped because he didn't want to get smacked in the nose again, so he turned his head to the left though one of the fingers still clipped his right eye a little, making him flinch and wince.
In a panick-y response he pushed Shouyin away, releasing his underhook. Able to rotate out to the right and away because his shoulder was grabbed and not his elbow for control.
As he retreated his right hand rubbed slightly against the eye over the lid, attempting to comfort it or whatever while trying to keep a mindful watch on Shouyin.

As Crawley went for the retreat, Shouyin would drop his left arm, bringing his right up into guard as he threw a left Thai roundhouse for the man's right side.
Needless to say, the kick wouldn't keep Crawley in a clinch, it was just an attempt to give him something to think about as he backed up. And anyways, with his right hand busying itself with the wounded eye, the lower section of his torso was good 'n open.
Immediately following the kick he'd go back into his fighting stance facing Mr. C, his right foot leading.

Crawley took the shot and kept backing up. Then after he recovered from the eye attack he returned to squaring up against Shouyin, left foot forward. He was just barely out of the range of Shouyin's hands. He was bouncing around on the balls of his feet...
