It's about time for this guild to have a new Gackt discussion.

As we all may already know...there is virtually nothing wrong with Gackt's appearance or behavior or whatever. But everyone makes their fair share of mistakes. That being said, lets have ourselves a nice discussion thread about any mistakes you see in Gackt.
This thread will be full of everyone's diverse opinions....so please do not start flaming debates and such.
Follow all guild and Gaia rules.
If you post and image make sure it doesn't stretch the page.
If you want to quote an dimage please take the IMG tags out anf replace them with URL tags. As much as we love him....it's not that fun to see the same image over and over.
Have fun with this, okay?

I actually have a few of his 'mistakes' in mind....and surprisingly they all have to do with his hair. I'm currently trying to find the find image where he just screwed up with his hair, make up, and clothes.
But while looking for that image I found a more recent image of him.
It's from his S.K.I.N. concert and his hair made made gasp.
He looks like the Ren from the live action NANA movie.

The hair looks hot on him. Though the expression he's giving is a wee bit scary.
But I know another 'hair don't' that he's done.
Corn rolls. This style just doesn't look good on any other race than black.

I'd like that spiky hair on him too...if it weren't for it making him not look like his normal self.
I agree the cornrows weren't his best choice, but they weren't too bad.
Though that pink fluffly thing makes me go "WTF?"
xD
I wish I could find the picture I'm looking for.
It's definatly worse than the spiky hair and the cornrows.

I don’t think taking up Smoking was a good idea on his part, especially since he’s a singer and a really great one at that. But I have to be far he did quit last year thank god and that can’t have been easy.

There's a group of pictures I saw on the Internet from Malice Mizer called "Gackt having the only ugly day of his entire life" or something like that which I found by accident. It was too horrific to actually go looking for.

NinjaFerret I actually have a few of his 'mistakes' in mind....and surprisingly they all have to do with his hair. I'm currently trying to find the find image where he just screwed up with his hair, make up, and clothes.
But while looking for that image I found a more recent image of him.

He looks like the Ren from the live action NANA movie.

hmm.. other mistakes... the smoking thing was covered.. idk i personally think that Gackt has trouble with love. maybe that's his weakness?
and oh, i think it's a HUGE mistake for him to say that he shouldnt have been born! i would also love to see him married and have kids. it would really make me happy despite this goes against what he believes. but having a nice family, i think, would make anyone happy. i don't want Gackt to end up alone!! that would be too sad ;_;
another thing. the nose job? it was fine before... but, well, i cant tell the difference. and i really think he had surgery on his eyelids but this would be way before. it just seems that way. but again, i could be wrong on this.

You mentioned great points, especially Gackt saying that he shouldn't have been born or not having a family. I agree with you that having a family would make him happy, although I am sure he's happy with his career and all.

I believe at one of his lives (I don't think this was intentional, though) Gackt slipped and fell on his butt while he was dancing.

@hoshino: yea, actually i'm really glad i know that Gackt exists! he's the first celebrity that I've ever been obsessed about. no one else even comes close.. but that's because i just admire him greatly. he's lived an almost story-like life in the past (with the fights, near death experiences, marriage, etc...) that just doesnt seem real! but here he is... one of the greatest asian artists. he's just so determined.. it makes me realize how easily i give up at things and what not. i'm really ashamed of myself.
i REALLY hope he gets married and has a family though. it's weird because im usually against celebrities that i love getting married, but for him i want him to experience the ultimate happiness. his career and fans make him happy, i know, but i honestly think he wont regret doing this.
i just dont want him to be alone!!!

Being an actor is probably another mistake of Gackt's I wanna point out. Sorry, but I think I'm one of the few people who actually didn't like Moon Child. It was kinda. . .cheezy. Gackt's acting wasn't that wonderful, but it seems like people give him nothing but praise. Therefore boosting his eago and encouraging him to be in more movies and such. Sadly Gackt, I don't think you belong on the silver screen. . . unless your singing of course. . .
