How do YOU decorate your house? Do you do themes or do you decorate on your own? If you do themes, which ones are you using? If you decorate yourself, what are your favorite items? :3
Personally, I'm doing all but one of my rooms themed. I'm doing the Mad Scientist, Beach, Green, and Exotic. And my last room is a Cafe-modeled room to show my own personality. (Although I'm not done with my expansions...these are my dreams x3)

Let's see... For my main room I have an Egypt-style moving room, my upstairs room is a Nintendo room, my right room is a Model Room, my right room is a Pirate room, and my back room is soon to be my Throne room

It sounds awesome. I'm so lame, I actually follow the sets. XD;; I wish I could break myself of that habit, but I love things to match. I like your Pirate idea though, I'd be interested to see it, actually! x3

uhm... my brother owns the bottom room.
His room has a lot of fish, two guitars, and a robot bed.
upstairs has two sharks, an ocean sunfish, and some red/white items.

My front room has got all the items that I like in it. My left room is a Mushroom room. Hehe. My right room is Cabana. My back room is a flower garden. And my top room is Exotic.
I'd love a Nintendo room though ¬_¬

before i destroyed my town and built a new one my main room was mush, top was robo, right was lovely (my sisters), left was cabin, back was my completed throne room!

my big room is the living room (mainly lovely furniture)
my upstairs is the dressing room,
my back room is still being decoratedm, (most likely to be the snow man room)
my left room is the kitchen,
my right room is the dining room.

My main room is like a hunter's cabin,
well somewhat, it has a cowhide rug and a fireplace where there is suppost to be "taxidermy" above it.
For the main room my 'tablet' was basicly brown and white.
Upstairs is a bedroom-like room where I mostly have furniture and items blue, golden and white.
The others are under construction.
I'm kind of OCD when it comes to colors...

I'm trying to do a fruit themed house. As soon as I pay off my loan from Tom Nook and get the second room I'm going to do a watermelon room. I've got the chair and table so far. Is there any more watermelon furniture?
