I don't think there's a thread about this yet.?
I hope not, leastways.
I really love this song. I want to learn/memorize the lyrics, so I can sing it by myself, and try to find someone who can play the guitar part. But then I would also need to find someone who can play the violin.(I think that's the correct instrument).
I think I would feel sad while singing it though. I sing just the last "moo ichido" part, and I almost tear up.

aww, i love this song too. but not because it's a sad song since all i hear are sad songs. i love songs that raise your spirits up even if it's like techno haha (for ex: satisfaction by benny b)
but i was just in LOVE with his platinum box performance on the piano. that video was what really pulled me in with this obsession of Gackt! =D i watch it almost every day either when i wake up or go to sleep. i really love the piano and love it when a man can play!!!!!
*sighs*
he's just so incredibly amazing. but if he were to appear at my house right now, i'd be too nervous to face him!! i'd probably hide -_- and then miss the greatest moment of my life. haha

I actually sing a lot of Gackt stuff for friends at their parties on a portable karaoke machine just for the mic. I even use to sing on Gaian Radio before it closed down. I'm hoping to get back on the air again soon.

it's sooo amazing. you'll like it!!! but i have a feeling that you might have seen it anyway. maybe "platinum" is throwing you off. but again i could be wrong. ^^

i love the piano very much (: i regret stopping when i was 8. but i picked it back up during the summer of my 8th grade. it's been about 4 years (this being the 4th). i really think i improved quickly since i really have a passion for playing. i'm not super good yet though.
and really, you used to hate him? honestly, i heard about Gackt like several years ago but I didn't care about jrock and stuff. i was kind of against it. i'm still not a big fan, but Gackt seems to really get my attention. the more i learned about him, the more i liked him despite some of his weird attributes. o_O haha but i love him anyway.

haha that's where i got my copy. but when i played it, i only liked the beginning because it's like an exact copy of Gackt playing. but when it starts to get to the singing part, i really hate it. i just dont play that. i want a copy where the singing part isnt involved. just what he plays. like in the link i gave wataru.
i want just strictly the piano part. no singing involved. someone else could sing it while i play.

I believe I am. I've seen the PV. But don't know if that's the same thing? I've never tried to learn the piano, at least not seriously. Though I remember when I was younger starting to learn how. Using books, I had to read the music, and I think I did pretty well, from what I can recall. I really did. I couldn't stand him..... I'm not sure you want to know my thought now. It's on the absolute other end of the spectrum. I don't know where it came from, just blam, and there it was. Odd... Yeah, he's sure got some weird things about him. But I accept that. What bothers me is him not being able to go to Kami's funeral, and not finding out about Kami until the same time the fans did, because of Mana not telling him. *boils my blood*

Sorry to double post.
For some reason I'm thinking that 'Last Song' is about someone being in an accident and how one person is really sad.
Please correct me if I'm wrong because on YouTube I wanted to input the reason why. Since so many people were asking.
And one idoit...Thought the masked person was playing a violin! It's a cello! *dies from people with lack of knowledge of instruments*
