okay i know this should be in the sub forum, but really, i figure if it has any chance at being talked about, i should put it here cuz tehre arn't a lot of people posting any more.... I saw one of the first showings in Portland(aka 11:59 PM, and i'm sure a few others were liek that) anywho... I LOVED it. what did ya'll think? or have u/are you gunna go?

i love it, its my new favorite movie..... thought i wish it could show the whole book, but i always wish that, and as far as you flik, i know cuz she and i talked...

I saw the premiere and I was slightly disappointed.
It was good, I liked it alright, but it didn't impress me.

hey hey everyone long time no talk? lol its been forever since i posted in the guild srry.. but yes on to the topic, harry potter i feel the same way as karma i thought it was good n liked it but it didn't leave me all like wow that was amazing n stuff

My husband and I caught a matinée yesterday and really enjoyed it. My favorite before this was #3, in spite of how poorly they adapted the elements of the book to movie (can we say whole chunks of important story dropped like week-old fish?). I think this one's my favorite now, since they highlighted the best elements of Azkaban and didn't leave out important story elements!
My only problem is now I have to report to one of my library patrons--a mother of two who asked me to screen it beforehand so she'd know if she should bring her kids to it--and tell her that she's probably better off waiting for it on DVD and watching it at home with the lights on. I think it's too intense for a 4-year-old and a 6-year-old. gonk

WAY too intense for those kids! a 9 year old sittin behind me had to leave cuz she was scared and started cryin!

I saw it yesterday... I didn't like it. Seriously, I expected so much! Well, yea... the worst so far, on my opinion.
