Well, I hate the fact that he killed Light-kun but I think its awesome that he looks up to L. ^____^

Unless I'm mistaken, he was 19... I hate him anyway, he was really bland... and he had a creepy a** smile ;_; But more power to him for killing Light, I hated him. biggrin

Near is my buddy! I agree that he can be a bit expressionless and mean, but he does seem fit for the job. I mean I bet would think so. ^^ Long live L! *cries* crying Plus Near-kun is so chibi and adorable!

He trapped him. If he didn't, then it wouldn't have happened that way. (in the anime) And he would have lived. Because matsuda wouldn't have shot him, and Ryuk wouldn't have written his name in the Death Note...Yet... Duh. :-/

He's OK...
I find him adorable but he's never L. L had a personality and was a hella lot cuter with it. (that and he's after Mello who belongs to Matt *cough*)

Near-kun is adorable, and very capable of doing L's job, though he can be mean at times, we still love him anyway.^_^ heart dramallama

Near is cute but he is quite differnet from L. But did you expect a clone of L to be his heir? Plus his toys are fun fun!
