Examples of action are Bleach, Gundam Seed, Ranma..etc...Any fighting whether its swordplay or Naruto style...
I personally loved those that I described above and can't find any other action anime that can compare...
Naruto- At first I couldn't get into it, but then after seeing so many different characters, each with their own background and style..I began to love it...Naruhina ftw.
Bleach- He's just badass...Hollow Ichigo looks cool and so do many other ppl i nthe anime...I'm a fan of Orihme/Ichigo btw...
Gundam Seed- Loved the action, sadness, and above all, his fighting spirit when he's mad..he has alot of skill, but isn't god-modding (Law of Ueki for example)...And although I was sad when frey died, destiny showed me another side of everyone....Lacus and Kira together was awesome....
Rurouni Kenshin wasn't bad either...although he never lost...I hate main characters that never lose...the end was a bit sad...the OVA's were sad on another level....
Overall..the best action anime have more than just action....romance, sadness, comedy....that's what makes an anime good.

I can't really say for sure but it is between Bleach, Naruto and DBZ.

Obviously by my avatar, I'm a Naruto fan. Everything that was mentioned above is awesome.... but my absolute favorite anime is Fullmetal Alchemist.

I like Naruto. And I've got to find a way to re-watch Digimon Tamer's final battle... Don't dis that season. I really liked it.

the best action Anime I ever seen was a DBZ and its little sister Naruto.lol

And bleach... episodes 1-74 was a blast of action. escpecialy the final few.

I loved Gundam Wing...it was one of my first animes.......so I will go with that one....or RK. and Naruto xd YU YU Hakusho is also really good....but I dont know if it really is action...It starts off kinda slow, but it gets better!~!!
