Starfire:

Did you know that in the Original Comics Starfire was created as the groups sex symbol?

Also things are switched around in the show. Originally Starfire is banished from Tamaran by Blackfire and labeled as a traitor while in the show Starfire banishes Blackfire from Tamaran.

When Galfore greets Starfire in BETROTHED, he speaks Tamaranean and utters the word, "Koriand'r." Koriand'r is Starfire's real Tamaranean name in the comic book

Blackfire:

In the comic book, Blackire eventually wrested control of Tamaran. To everyone's surprise, she ended up being a strong and effective leader! Blackfire remained leader until Tamaran was destroyed.

Blackfire was born without the power of flight, and was passed over as heir to Tamaran - which was bestowed on her younger sister, Starfire. For this, she hated Starfire. She killed her pet, betrayed her planet to the evil Gordanians and sold her sister into slavery. When they met again, Blackfire and Starfire fought viciously - almost to the death.

Hynden Walch provides the voices of both Blackfire and Starfire.

Raven:

Raven is the daughter of a union between Trigon the Terrible, a powerful extra-dimensional being, and Arella, a woman who was seduced by a satanic cult to try to bring Satan to earth. Instead, Trigon came and took Arella as his bride.

When Raven turned 18 in the comics, she sensed Trigon's evil growing, so she left Azar and traveled to earth to gather together a band of heroes that would be able to stop him. She first appeared to the Justice League, but was rebuffed when Zatanna sensed an evil within Raven. Undaunted, she gathered together the New Teen Titans, a new incarnation of the old team with Robin, Wonder Girl, Kid Flash, Cyborg, Starfire and Changeling.

In the original comics when the Titans learned that Raven was the daughter of Trigon and had also manipulated Kid Flash into thinking he loved Raven, the Titans abandoned her cause out of mistrust.

While in the t.v. show Trigon was destroyed by Raven in the original comic Trigon was thrown into an inter-dimensional prison with Arella acting as a gatekeeper.

While in the t.v. show Kid Flash was never a part of the titans he was one in the comics. He fell in love with Raven but like the others he began to fear her darker side and he left the titans. Raven fell into despair and it made it harder for her to control her dark side.

In the comics Trigon takes over Ravens body and her appearance chages. Skin color and all.

I heard those but in the show she never actually gave her real name she just says that her name means Starfire hence why being called that her real name Koriand'r so that means Starfire...I guess lol

i love starfire!!!! i read a lot of that on another site, but i still can't believe how different the comics and the show are. its odd.

The thing I love the most that people get confused by is that they still think the Teen Titans Robin is NOT d**k Grayson. But it is because Larry's real name is Nosyargkcid. d**k Grayson backwards!!
