burner6336 I like"Lord I lift your name on high" ,"I could sing of your love forever". and two ther songs which I don't know the name of. It goes like this. Every move I make I make in you, (Iforgot the words.) 2nd song I'm trading my sorrows I'm trading my shame Yes Lord Yes Lord Yes Yes Lord Yes Lord Yes Lord Yes Yes Lord Yes Lord Yes Lord Yes Yes Lord Amen! You sort of mashed two songs together. The first line goes to a different song. I'll post the lyrics to both of them. Every Move I Make Every move I make I make in you You make me move Jesus Every breath I take I breathe in you
Every step I take I take in you You are my way Jesus Every breath I take in you
Na na na na na na na Na na na na na na na Na na na na na na na Na na na na na na na
Chorus: Waves of mercy, waves of grace Everywhere I look I see your face Your love has captured me Oh my God, this love How can it be?
I'm Trading My sorrows I'm trading my sorrows I'm trading my shame I'm laying them down for the joy of the Lord
I'm trading my sickness I'm trading my pain I'm laying them down for the joy of the Lord
We're saying Yes Lord yes Lord yes yes Lord Yes Lord yes Lord yes yes Lord Yes Lord yes Lord yes yes Lord Amen
I am blessed but not crushed Persecuted not abandoned Struck down but not destroyed I am blessed beyond the curse For his promise will endure That his joy is gonna be my strength
Though the sorrow may last for the night His joy comes with the morningAnd those are the lyrics. Anyways, my favorites would definately have to be I Could Sing of Your Love Forever and Days of Elijah.

Hmmm... my favorite Hymn Song would have to be the Battle Hymn of the Republic.
As for contemporary songs, I have many but can't choose right now.

I have quite a few favorite hymns. Just a closer walk with thee is so wonderful. biggrin Then I REALLY like As the Deer... LORD I LIFT YOUR NAME ON HIGH!!! Woot! Hmm... Actually, to be honest, most of the stuff the church I attend sings is modern music. We have... a guitar, a bass, a drum set, and a saxophone solo. So it's kinda like a rock band with a sax instead of a guitar solo. It's really nifty, but it means some of the older hymns no longer work with the congregation xd But yes... Lord I lift your name on high definitely roxxors my leatherbound biblexors.

My all-time favorite 'hymn' (or song of that nature. Not entirely sure if it is an actual hymn) would be Amazing Grace.
Followed by the Doxology.
