No offence to anyone but can nobody in the whoniverse let go of the fact that Rose is gone and is not coming back!?! Billie left DW over a year ago (I think) and yet nobody can accept it, people are always saying that they hope Rose will be reunited with the doctor in a lovely slow motion scene where they run to each other over a beach and hug each other. It annoys me so much.

I have to say that I mostly agree with you, a whole entire Cliche-Romance scene between Rose and the Doctor would be rather disturbing. And for one thing he's a 900+ year old Alien she's a 20(?) year old Human, it just wouldn't work out.
Yeah I think Billie left for good, but that ain't gonna stop the Doctor/Rose shippers. D:

Fine, they can write all they please, whatever they please. Doesn't mean it has to be on the TV screen. Doctor Who is about change, & always has been. You may not be happy about it sometimes, but you just have to accept that it wasn't going to keep on being the same.

I figure that there is no point wishing Rose will come back on the show. (Even though I think it would rock.) BUT I still think that they are such a cute couple.

I've never wanted Rose back. But many people always will want Rose back. DW has been geared as romance since Doctor Number Nine, to appeal to the modern masses more....and she was the speshal soulmate of the Doctor, that's how she was written and that's what she's become for half of the fandom.
I liked Rose but if she comes back, it'll be beyond LAME.

Well this is just my opinion but I do think that Rose coming back will basically ruin the series. I like Rose but with the way they had her leave there is no good way to have her come back. Unless they do an episode like the 5 Doctors in which she doesn't technically come back sense she's technically gone.

I liked Rose and sort of wish she would come back, but it would ruin the 2nd season finale, so I don't really. I've tried to think of ways it might work and not ruin that episode, but there aren't any.

Rose had a good run. Her time with the Doctor had a satisfying beginning, middle and end. All loose ends tied up in a nice and neat little package.
Bring her back would cheapen her departure.

I don't want her to come back to the show... But I don't mind all the sappy fanfics with Rose and the Doctor. Most of 'em are really sweet.
I wouldn't mind maybe a single scene in a new episode where somehow he gets to see a glimpse of her or something... That would be kind of cool. But she shouldn't return. That'd just wouldn't work.

Yea, i know it is very piss off about all the talk about Rose coming back, ALTHOUGH the same was though about Sara Jane Smith. She was entitled to have a comback season in the later years, And Rose lovers cling to this and belive the same thing was going to happen And remember this is Doctor Who there is always a loophole to manipulate (I.E ... SPOILER WARNING HIGHLIGHT FOR EXAMPLE. THE MASTER)

Adric died, and the Doctor didn't spend an entire season crying about it. In fact, I don't think it bothered him beyond the first 5 minutes of the next story...

In his regeneration scene, he sees Tegan, Turlough, Kamelion, Nyssa, and Adric, and he actually says Adric's name aloud before seeing the Master. Might say something there.

Everyone is assuming that if they brought Rose back on the show... that she would be the same as when she left. Time has passed and she has probably moved on. I mean... it isn't like she stood on the beach waiting for a year...
Perhaps she even started things up with Mickey again... and she mentioned how she had been moving on even in the goodbye scene didn't she? Plus... they put her in a different world for a reason... so she couldn't come back.
I admit I was sad to see her go... but the episode was beautiful. Besides... its better they left it like that because we did not get sick of her... She left us wanting more so to speak... xd
