Wow. Thats so "mellow" compared to the album, no? Ryan wasnt kidding when he said it was going to be a "love story" and a "fairytale for adults." xd I think I like it...it's just going to take a while to adjust from "techno pop" to...this...xD
I agree with all the lyrics you posted, Poly. Those sound right to me.
This reminds me of like...Aladdin. Or a Disney princess movie.

Yeah, it's different. I like it, but I don't love it. I'm pretty surprised by the lyrics. They don't seem like something Ryan would write... they're so simple compared to A Fever.

Yeah, I was thinking about that too. Well, I think they seem like Ryan would write them. But like you said, they seem too "simple." I guess I was just expecting more big words to look up. Haha. And more...I guess, long phrases.

`PrimeRib Yeah, I was thinking about that too. Well, I think they seem like Ryan would write them. But like you said, they seem too "simple." I guess I was just expecting more big words to look up. Haha. And more...I guess, long phrases. yes i agree. where are the hard words???????????? im used 2 looking up words that i dont know.............but yeah these lyrics are way 2 simple. not bad, but just not the usual panic! lyrics.

yeah, to a certain extent, it's somewhat panic! at the disco-esque... but not really!!!
where are the "two dollar words"???
and come on, that's not remotely metaphorical compared to "a fever you can't sweat out"
where's the wit?
the cleverness?
where's the REAL panic!?
but... this is only one song
so... maybe it won't be as simple as that seems to me

at first it doesn't seem like a Panic! song at all...but then it sounded somewhat like something off of A Fever..to me anyways. >.<

You know, I don't know why everybody's saying it's not Ryan-like or Panic!-esque, because to me it is. The way it comes off oh so simple, and the way Ryan said it's going to be a love story and that's exactly what it was. We didn't expect it, just like we didn't expect something so astounding as A Fever. Plus, that's only a taste of what's to be on the CD. Everything else may be nothing like this song. And really, it must be hard trying to top yourself being Panic! At the Disco...that's just me though. xD

The way it comes off oh so simple, and the way Ryan said it's going to be a love story and that's exactly what it was. But I agree with the rest of what you said 3nodding It is only a small taste of the album, and it really makes me want to hear more! It's got me all curious xp
