who: Terasu and Charity what: umm, things need to be cleared up. when: sometime after the others go traveling. why: I...couldn't resist. XD
Now, where the hell was that place? She had said it was in this direction; not hard to miss. Then why couldn't he find it?! Terasu huffed and plopped himself back, tails tapping angrily at his lost sense of direction. Atae had shown him the way what...not even two weeks ago. And she was the only one he could think of to talk about stuff of recent confusion. Then again...
The male shook his head. Perhaps she wouldn't take to the questioning quite well. After all, she did get hurt by the very kitsu he wanted to talk about. Blowing gray strands from his face, Terasu treaded some ways out of the trees in the direction of a steep hill. Large plants soon dwindled to shrugs and fine grass, perfect for him to lounge comfotable while viewing the slope below. He tilted carefully over the edge, just enough to keep his balance, and took in the terrain below. Not much but a simple meadow of sorts.

Interestingly enough.. and quite coincidentally... a set of green tails was swaying in the grasses of the meadow below. Twitching to and fro as the owner stalked her prey.
Why it was Charity, and it seemed that she was coming to terms with her adulthood as she spent more and more time on her own. However, she still saw her father fairly often, and her mother and siblings occasionally.
The sin's daughter was creeping through the grass, stalking any unaware bunny as it nibbled upon the foliage. Long ears twitching alertly, listening for signs of any danger... although having yet to discover that danger was not too far away.

Now what do we have here? Terasu crouched when he spotted the other, the mixed tones of the meadow giving her pelt some coverage. His own tails curled excitedly, and his eyes scanned to where she was moving. A bunny? Ears lowered at the poor fate he knew awaited the creature. So goes the circle of life.
A grin crept on his maw, wondering how far he could get undetected. His pelt would be easy to spot though on the steep hill, unless he moved fast enough. Of course, he glanced about, making sure none of her dangerous kin were about. Finding it clear, he darted down midway and curled behind some stones.

Amber eyes watched keenly, ears listening to the rabbit's movements. The huntress was on the prowl and focusing all her attention on it... and thus did not notice Terasu's decent to hide behind some stones.
Closer Charity crept... closer... closer... and then she pounced! However, the rabbit managed to detect her at the last moment and quickly darted away before it could be snared by teeth and claws. A brief chase was given, but the rabbit was too quick.
A wrinkle of her nose and she sniffed indignantly. Sitting herself down to groom a paw as if nothing had happened. Although the twitching of her tails showed her aggitation. Oh well.. next time.

Terasu crouched against the stone, peeking around to watch the chase. Fast for a little thing, that bunny was. And the male was stunned to find that Charity couldn't catch it. For one so strong and proud, was she just an all talk?
Slowly, he crawled from behind his hiding spot, the slope forcing him to quicken his pace smoothly. Once on level ground, he paused under some tall meadow grass. Head tipped up and down every now and then, finding her location before moving forward. He grinned when he was within feet of her. "Not too good at hunting, are we?" Not a moment later, he pounced playfully.

She can't be perfect at -everything!- Although she wouldn't admit to that of course. Not all hunts ended in success you know... and bunnies are tricky. Besides... she didn't want it anyway.
Charity blinked and quickly looked behind her as she heard an all too familiar voice. A frown and ears tilting back as she realized that he must have seen her failure. Dammit.
Huff. "No.. I was just..." and then she was pounced. Eyes widening as she found herself on the ground and peered up at Terasu with a critical glare. "Hey!" What the heck was he doing? This seemed rather... out of character for him.. atleast around her. Perhaps he was finally starting to lighten up? At that thought, she smirked lightly.

Of course she'd never admit little flaws like that. Too bad he'd already seen it though.
Her frown went missed as Terasu was already in motion with his pounce. As did her attempt at an excuse. The pale boy smirked in victory, back legs still standing while front crossed lazily upon her green ruff. "Geez, and here I thought it would be a challenge to pin ya." More lightened up? Perhaps. It certainly helped his security to wake up alive the day he bumped into her again. That was enough to make his back untense and tails wag. "So, what are you up to?"

Well durnit.. her pride was taking all sorts of blows all at once, wasn't it? But then.. perhaps she'd let him pounce her? X3 A paw swatted at his face in a playfully rough manner. "Enjoy it while it lasts" she said, her smirk widening.
What was she up to? "Well I -was- trying to hunt.. but judging from the sound of your voice... you seem to think you're so much better at it. Care to prove it?"

One eye closed as a cheek was assualted with a swat. Even a simple gesture like that was rough. Must come from rough play with siblings. He tossed the thought and smirked in reply. "Is that so? I guess it is a rare opportunity to pin a sin kitsu." How lucky to be him, and live to tell the tale.
His head tilted, even as his ear feathers kept up in place. "My voice? Whatever was I implying?" He chuckled before backing up and away from the fallen kitsu. "As nice as that sounds, the bunny is already gone. Remember?"

"What? Can't find another one?" she scoffed as Charity got to her paws once he let her up. She could have pushed him aside, but then what fun would that be?
Sitting herself down, that smirk was renewed, "C'mon now.. impress me." Her voice making clear indication that she was challenging him. What was odd though... atleast to her... was that she -really- did want him to impress her. Darn hormones or something.

Terasu shrugged lightly, as he was often hard to offend. Even so, making a stand was one thing he strived to achieve. "I suppose if I must." An ear flickered, hearing her tone and pretending to ignore it. There was always something about her that either said f--- off or impress me. Terasu would rather be on the friendlier side; thus the struggle to impress.
He peered over the soft grass, ears perked in alert. Of course, he put his trained nose to good use, soon standing and turning to the left. "There." He rushed forward into the grass, jolting another tan rabbit out of hiding. The chse was quick, with such little distance between them in the first place. Head ducked down, and he nipped the gentle neck, twisting it for a quick end.

Well that was... quick. She pouted for a couple seconds upon seeing Terasu make the kill. She could have done that.. yeah. Getting up, she padded towards Terasu when it was certain that the rabbit was deceased. "Heh... I'm impressed" she admitted a bit grudgingly... but in truth she was. She was younger than he, and didn't have the experience in hunting that he did. It took more than physical prowess... it also took skill.
Now if only she could get her hunting strategy down pat to the point that she could make a kill at the first try like he apparently could. She would have to work on that.

A little too quick, actually. He nipped the little creature a little harder than intended. The tan fur of the meal clung to his mouth with help of the trickle of blood. Terasu dropped the rabbit to the ground, moving to sit back almost dizzily. "It's just a rabbit. Not too impressive." His paw wiped at his maw, while his tongue flicked angrily at the taste. Thank goodness he didn't maul the thing.
"I hope your still hungry then." He closed his eyes and teetered his head, as if that would remove the taste from his tongue. It was like...bad sugar for him.

A brow is lifted at Terasu's slightly strange behavior, then another snort when he belittles her compliment. "If you say so... although it wasn't the rabbit that was impressive as the speed in which you killed it." She'd never seen any kitsu hunt with such speed an accuracy. It looked as if he had a talent there.
A paw proded the dead thing and she gave a roll of her shoulders, supposing she could indulge in his kill if he didn't care to have it. Teeth gripped the fur of the bunny and pulled at it. Seperating skin and fur from flesh.

He shrugged with a smile, head still bowed and eyes closed. "I suppose. You just learn it when you wander about alone." He had been told that enough times to recognize it. Once adulthood came, time with family and friends just...dwindled.
The smell hit his nose right after the sickening sound. Eyes opened and he raised a brow. "Enjoying it?" His mouth watered slightly, but he knew better. Legs stretched and he rested on his tummy, sighing anxiously to himself. Stupid impressing got him surrounded in bad smell and taste. He found himself smirking in the poisonous high, just out of reach from being dangerous.
