Morgana moved slowly forward through the open plains, she wasn't paying much attention to anything and stared at the ground as she walked. Unlike most mares who seemed to try and get attention by prancing with their heads thrown up and a shine to their coats she almost seemed to try and get it off of her by walking with slumped shoulders and a dull listless coat. She had such a sadappearence with eyes that held very few emmotions and a face that rarelly smiled, a truely heart breakin sight for she'd never done anythign to deserve this sadness that overwhelmed her.
With a light flick of her tail she continued to move forward with no purpose or reason, just going wherever her hooves would take her this day. The sun beat down on her coat heating it but it was bearable because she wasn't of to dark a color.

A strange sight came from the not too far distance as a great green shape moved over the lightly dusted land. Golden hooves walked upon the earth as the green shape shook his head for unknown reasons. "Huh... its been a while since I last came upon the plains. Even the wind here tastes different," he gently spoke with a light sigh trailing at the end of his words. "Where in the world did Amara go off to anyway?"
Shifting his weight, the green stallion Verloren moved off in another direction only to spot... a rather sad looking mare. Both physically and mentally it seemed. Carefully make his way through the grass, the stallion walked up to the mare and bowed his head slightly in greet. "Hello, I'm Verloren. And whom might you be?" Upon observing the filly, she looked a bit like Amara in the terms of mane and tail style. Their red coloring was somewhat similar as well.

The soft voice suddenly jarred Morgana out of her thoughts and she slowly raised her head to see quiet a handsome stallion beside her. The thought surpised her because he was the first she'd found truely handsome, but she she scolded herslef in her mind knowing he'd never think much of her anyway. "It's nice to meet you, I'm Morgana," her voice wasn't bright and full of emmotion like the restof her it was somewhat low and listless.
She lifted her head up slightly so that he didn't have to crane his in such a painfull manner. The only thing that ave her body even the semblance of a shine was a light dusting of sparkles sprinkled abot her brown coat.

Looking up, Verloren's ears perked up and swiveled about listening to the sounds that the wind carried. The mare's manner somewhat bothered him. Sure, he often moaned over things, but this mare seemed rather depressed then the average soquili. Smiling softly, Verloren tilted his head to the side. "What do you like to do?"
He felt as if he weren't yet permitted to ask about the mare's personal matters. It should be her choice to speak about her things anyway. "You remind me of my daughter. She's somewhat similar to you."

She tilted her ehad slightly back at him, "oh, thank you ... but your dauhgter is far more beautiful than a plain jane like me though I'm sure." Morgana hadn't said what she'd said for nice words, she'd said it because she truely believe she was just a plain jane with nothing pretty about her to attract anyone.
She lowered her head for a moment and nipped at an itch beneath her decorative bandages on her forelegs. Usually Morgana tried to act stronge like she didn't care that she wasn't pretty, but sometimes she got rather lonely always being by herself and it depened the depression that plauged her.

Verloren was silent for moment before throwing up his head and laughing. It took a little while to calm down the big green stallion. "Well, I'm sure my daughter Amara would be flattered by that but she's more trouble then beautiful if you ask me. She's still young and when the two of us left on a journey a year or so ago, she got into nothing but trouble. Still I shall send my daughter your regards."
Carefully, Verloren walked forward and touched the mare's lowered head softly with his muzzle. "Well, if you're plain, then what am I? I assure you that I'm not perfect or filled with greatness in any sense. Everyone has their faults and virtues. Don't think so low of yourself."

She actually laughed softly as he described his daughter, "she sounds like she'd be quiet the adventure to be around." Alot of times the adventure could bring out Morgana's happier side, she was definatly an adventerous travler.
At his nxt question she flushed slightly and shook her short mane and for a moment fought against herself weathe ror not to to say what she felt, finally she decided to. "What are you?" she lifted her head a tone of seriousness in her eyes, "you are the most beautiful stallion I've ever meet, not only are you visably stunning your kind unlike some others I've meet." She had afew friends that were kind and nice to look at, but this Valoren he was just stunning.

Verloren's eyes opened wide for a second, possibly stunned by the comment. A soft chuckle escaped the green stallion's maw. "Well, others have tried to eat me, lick me and tease me but I must admit that this is the first time I've been flattered so." Verloren shoke his head a little, shaking off some of the dust that hid in his mane.
"Well, truth be told, I really am your everyday soquili. Just... greener." Verloren laughed to himself. "I believe I was born around a time some humans call "Chirstmas", whatever that may be. All I know is that red and green is popular on that day so, for whatever the reasons the gods have deemed it so, I became a green stallion. My son's also a rather stunning green color himself," Verloren pointed out.
His golden hooves carefully dug into the earth as if trying to uncover so unknown secret but he was simply preoccupying himself, trying his best not to be embarassed.

She looked away and flsuhed slightly for a moment at him saying he'd been flattered and maybe at the fact that she'd been to bold in her statement, but words couln't be taken once they were spoken.
With a flick of her head she looked back over to him "perosnally I like your green color as i said it's stunning." She listned quietly again as he spoked then nodded "i've heard of christmas and seen quiet afew soquili who bare the resemblance of how the two-leggers see it, so i guess that could make sense."
She smiled again at him "i bet he is if he came from such a stallion as yourself." She didn't knoow if she was being flirty in the wat she spoke, though in her mind it wasn't what she was trying to do. She was only speaking what she saw as true.

Golden eyes danced in the glimmering light as Verloren chuckled to himself again. "Well, he really is a fine colt now. Although I haven't seen him or his mother in a long time. You see, my daughter and I left long ago on a journey. We had no time to warn the two of our departure. I'd imagine that they'd be upset with us but... Resi was never one to hold a grudge, nor was my son. Still I should find them some time and talk with them."
In thought, Verloren stared into the sky briefly, pondering his year long journey. A sudden expression of realization came upon the stallion as he thought about his previous words. "Ah. Resi and I are not mates if you're wondering. She's a wonderful mare whom I met a while ago but we never did become close enough to be life mates. Still she is special to me." After a brief pause, Verloren looked to the side where butterflies danced amongst the few flowers that were in the vicinity. "My daughter takes after her mother more in colors."

She nodded slightly "understandable, my parents are mates thoug. Even still I've seen plenty of pairs produce children that aren't mates." She lightly flicked her tail back and forth wondeirng if she'd ever have babies with somone who wasn't her mate.
She flicked ehr ears forward as she caught the scent of water ahead, that was good she was alittle parched.
"One would never believe that i was related to my dad if you saw him and not my mother. I look almost exactly like her but with a slight dusting of sparkles that i inherited form my my father."

"Well, I say that you are a fine looking mare," Verloren replied with a smile.
Golden eyes followed the mare's ears as they flicked forward for a moment. Turning his neck slightly, the gentle sound of water coming from a small stream not too far away whispered into his ears. "Ah, I've kept you talking for a while now haven't I? Why don't we get a drink? And we'll continue our conversation as we go."
Taking a few steps with his golden hooves, Verloren stopped for a moment and motioned for Morgana to take the lead. Verloren's eyes looked up for a moment in quick thought. "Where were we... oh, right! My daughter has her mother's coloring but her stripes come from me. She even has some red in her black mane too. My son on the other hand has back markings like his mother, but gold in coloring. He also has his mother's black mane and tail but... we have no idem where his long mane comes from since his mother and I have short manes." Verloren laughed again. He was a simple stallion at heart who laughed at the small ironic things in life easily.

She smiled slightly "thanks, you are the first to tell me that besides my family." She blushed again then looked back up "Thats ironic...both my parents and my sister have longer hair styles but I have short. I'm like my mother's twin except ofcurse the shorter hair style and the red markings and sparkles. My father is a beautiful black with glowing blood red eyes, his mane and tail start black then halfway down turn into neon green and pink streaks. His hooves are silver with sparkly blood like splatters on his hooves. His body is covered in sparkels of all colors and he has a rainbow skull on his rump."
With a flick of her tail she strode slightly ahead till they reached the small stream. She slowly stepped itno the water and drank the chilly liquid slowly.

Verloren took note that the mare seemingly had blushed a little right before they reached the stream. In the back of his mind, he chuckled a bit but didn't want to lead the mare on too much. He did rather like her but he felt that it might be just a little too early for him to find a mate... maybe. Still, he really was rather fond of Morgana.
Tipping his muzzle into the cool stream, Verloren lapped up the refreshing water into his maw. He never realized how thirsity he was until he took a drink. His golden hooves glimmered even more in the crystal clear stream. Slowly, he raised his head and shoke a little, drying the water that was formerly dripping from his muzzle. "My, your father sounds like a great stallion. It would be interesting to meet him one day," said the green soquili as he turned to look at Morgana.

Morgana didn't think she was quiet ready for a mate yet either, even if she did find him very handsom and kind but it was just far to soon to say she wanted to spend her life with him. "He is, he's a kind stallion even if his appearence and name doesn't imply it."
She stepped into the water up to her knees so it would soak through her bandages and cool the skin beneath them. She looked back at him for a moment then turned to face Verloren, "where would you like to go?"
