I'm attempting to catch one...but I can't seem to find one. Ever! DX
Animalxing.com says that it comes all day in the months of July, August, and September...but I fish in the ocean, litearlly, 4 or 5 hours each day, and I've never seen one.
What time/month did you catch yours in?

Eh...
I just caught one. xD 13.20.
It's time active is all day from July-September, yeah... In the ocean.
Oh, another tip, look for a shadow that is fairly larger than a sea bass' shadow. If you see a shadow smaller than that, just scare it off and keep scanning the ocean. That's how I always look for specific fish, and it works rather well.
And on it's little Bio, its month says August, so I'm assuming that's its peak month of activity. :3

It's the size of a shark without the fin, I think.

Eh, it varies, slightly.
The second one I caught was smaller than the first.

Oh yeah, because of the fishing thing, right? That's so strange (and cool) how Nintendo is able to make fish of the same type various sizes, and for us to be able to see the difference. x3

Since my complaining of not having a Blue Marlin, aka making this topic, I've been able to catch 5! All in the past three days! x3 I wonder if the same thing would happen with other fish... >.>

ok ive cought like 14 in one day.and i got like a total of 40 the whole month of August.just keep fishing all day and eventually youll get one
