Interesting. I will have a better opinion on her after I see Doctor Who this Friday.

"Addedam"? Wasn't that supposed to say, um... "am"? In the second-to-last paragraph. Well, considering how much his creepy psycho moments bothered her, maybe she'll make him stop doing that sort of thing. And, yes, it's grittier or whatever if he's not the Mr Nice Guy all the time, but...he needs to get over having destroyed Gallifrey and everything. Can't stew in his neuroses.

... Well this is should be interesting.
She was a neat character in The Runaway Bride, but she's a tad bit ditzy, no? How is the Doctor gonna cope?

I liked her as a one off character.... I liked her as a one off character.
....ARGH gonk ! There goes all my little hopes for having a non-female or non-human companion.
Now my only wish is that Ten and Nine meet on the Titianic. Because Nine said he was on it, and it's crashed into the TARDIS in the last episode of S4.

WTF?!!
Donna was sort of amusing in the Christmas special, but I don't really like her enough to be a permanent companion. I mean... I'd take ROSE over Donna, and you all know how much I like her.
RTD is starting to go off the deep end... gonk

I haven't seen Donna yet. Didn't watch that story. Wonder how things will turn out when the new series starts and she's in the TARDIS.

Edit Now my only wish is that Ten and Nine meet on the Titianic. Because Nine said he was on it, and it's crashed into the TARDIS in the last episode of S4. Yeah, um... crossing his own timeline? Bad idea. And I think you mean S3. EDIT: Yes, I know he's met himself before. Multiple times. I just don't know how they're saying it works NOW, with the new series. Hairy Priest RTD is starting to go off the deep end... gonk STARTING?!!! gonk He's a brilliant writer... sometimes. He's just not a very consistent one. Steven Moffat needs to take over.

Yes, I meant S3. Typo. But considering I don't see how he could avoid crossing his own timelime if they're both on the same ship, not like it was planned...crashed into the TARDIS. If Ten is on the ship, I'd like for him to bump into Nine. it is a wish of mine. *shrug* And there's sillier wishes, trust me.
Anyway! Donna.
Now I've gone back and re-watched the Runaway Bride christmas episode, I've decided it may not be such a bad thing. She'll hopefully be less annoying, since she won't be in a panic about getting to the church on time/finding out her fiancee hated her and has been filling her up with alien energy via coffee (...heeheee....). Still might be grating in the long run though.
Hopefully she'll still have a go at the Doctor when she needs to, so maybe he'll realise he's been a prat at times lately. Also, she's very different from Rose and Martha, at least in appearence and age (though still a 'streetwise'-ish Brit female, blah)...ande hopefully she won't fall in love with the Doctor.
Oh god please don't let her fall in love with the Doctor o_O;

Edit And hopefully she won't fall in love with the Doctor. Oh god please don't let her fall in love with the Doctor o_O; Yeah, that is likely to be one advantage to having her as a character. And at least she will be a bit different, I suppose. Hmm, I'm going to have to think this one over before I can really come to any kind of opinion about it.

Hm, well, I liked her as a character... I don't mind having her coming back. And plus, there are going to be LOTS of guest stars apparently, so there will probably be characters to balance her out if she does become annoying.

Hmmm. I will resist judgement on this at the moment, although I would like to hear Rusty's reasoning. Should have seen it coming really with the last scene of Runaway Bride (in white)...
Donna: Will I see you again? Doctor: (smiles) If I'm lucky.
Mind you, I give each new regular three episodes to impress me. The Ninth Doctor took one, Rose took all three, Captain Jack took one and a half, the Tenth Doctor took about three quarters of one and Martha took two. Donna has already had one of her episodes.
