OMG!
L.K.H. Killed Remus! WTH! I liked him! *cries in a corner* And the WAY he died... ugh! It was more depressing than I ever needed it to be. I mean, the last thing he said was, "I'm sorry." ...I wanted her to pair him with Asher... this sucks.
In other News
-I now offically HATE Richard, he has gone in my "If only I was Allowed to Kill you without getting arrested" Box. He is a selfish jerk off who blames others and hates everything he blames to be at fault for him screwing up his life.
-YAY! Folks are being all-mighty-powerful and kicking a**! Big Badies went poof.Are lovable folks are getting more powerful and protective.
- Less smut! More Polotics. (pros or cons?)
- They're BACK! Olaf, Edward/ted, AND Peter ( heart ). And there is some emotional stuff tied in that was facinating from the phsycological angle.
-Nathaniel wants BDSM, Anita is uncomfortable, but hey- Asher might get some... to help Anita out with her insecurities and not because he wants Nathaniel... of course... rolleyes

You forgot the return of Bell and her little encounter with Anita and the fact Anita now has a tiger in her system.Also I heart Richard.Man do I ever miss how he use to be.I can't wait until the day he learns to fully accpect himself and the people around him and he stops acting like an a**.Also when he and Anita get back together.Man I hope he doesn't get killed off that would so make me depressed.Richard I'm waiting for you to be the great man I know you can be so really hurry up.

Yes, Belle, the evil b***h of the east has returned and saved Anita! OMG! ...for her own gains. Mommy Dearest visited multiple times... and nearly became 'real' at one point. Creepy.

So did anyone else secretly wish that Richard has been killed in that book?
I know that sounds horrible! But I just want him out of the story line, his drama has been dragging through the last 5-6 books? More maybe. I'd booted his a** to the curb ages again.
I know I know he's Jean-Claudes animal to call, and it could kill Anita, or JC if he died, but I think their strong enough to survive...

Actually Anita didn't get tiger it was an illusion. The Sweet Mother or any one for that matter can't send any lycanthopy metaphysically it has to be up close in person and has to be physically harmed. I.E. Scratched or bitten , ect. sorry. i don't think richard is going to accept it for quite sometime yet. it might weaken the Triumverate but when it comes down to the fight with Mommy Dearest and Belle Morte he will be there reluctantly but he will be there.

I don't want Richard to die... only because he isn't bad and Anita LOVES him. So... I've made like 10 diffret OC for him. Someone who can heal like a son of a Hoofer, likes weres, deals with his s**t well; you know, the basics. ^^

I only read half the book. I might pick it up again, but reading it was too painful.
The problem I had with it, is that when she was all weak and needed to feed off a leader, the lion Rex wouldn't do it because of his wife.
A female not wanting her male to have sex with another female.
Even though the swanmanes stepped up so she really didn't need to have sex with the Rex, she got all pissed because of it.
Yet, can any of you see her sharing her guys? With other females? (Males don't count).
I really want to read the books b/c of Peter & Edward, but it's so hard to get past Anita's character without wanting to tear pages out of the book itself for me. (I have anger issues with people I hate?)
As for Richard, I just got the fact that the Harlequin can make emotions stronger. It's like he was under a spell that intensified everything he was feeling. At the beginning, he was starting to come around. Slowly. Then they had to come and F with everything.
I can't see how it's his fault, since you may be able to control your feelings, but you can't make them not-exist in the first place.

It's funny though cause I can really imagine that happening in future books. Even if Richard doesn't break it I could see Anita somehow becoming part of a third. Though I think I'll hate it. I really don't even like her second triumvirate. Why is it there? Frankly it's boring. As for the book as a whole. First I heard good things and then I heard bad things. I'm kinda torn. I like the fact that there was more action (even though the Harley Quinn rip off made me laugh) and she actually caught the bad guys this time but the entire book I was yelling about how much I didn't like Anita. Is it just me or did she seem extra whiney? I am so tired of her demanding to keep all these men in her bed and that they be cool with sharing her. Not to mention she doesn't like them with other women and foolishly calls them all her "boyfriends". What? No, boyfriend is a term used when less bodies are involved. They're the orgy squad in my eyes. And all that sex and god talk with Richard near the end just made me roll my eyes. I rolled my eyes a lot during this book. I'm still trying to hold on to Richard though after this it looks like LKH might really be trying to write him out though she insists she isn't. I'm tired of he and Anita going back and forth with their emotional baggage and just wish they'd both shut up and get over themselves. I really feel sorry for Jean-Claude in it all. They're both holding him back and only his love for Anita makes him more tolerant of her and reluctant to voice his true feelings. I mean he's a master vamp for crying out loud but her still walks on egg shells to keep from offending them. Edward and Olaf were a welcome change. I can't say how I expected him to react to Anita sleeping around with so many but I think his reaction surprised me. Did I think he'd be mad? I don't know.. Anyway, with him still doing the whole family thing I guess there's not much sociopath left in him. Unless he's going to become like Dexter. Oh! Am I the only one totally pissed off Anita flaked out and missed the fight between Richard and Jean-Claude? I was thinking "NO! I wanted to see a real fight" the minute I realized she was going to skip the details. After all this I think my new favorite character is Claudia.

I looooooove how Olaf kissed Anita.
I couldn't stop laughing.
It was wonderful.
They definatly need more Edward, Olaf, maybe even Bernardo, in these stories.
