Did anyone catch this Food Network Special? It was another one of the cake competitions but theme was making a Disney villian cake. Amazing work was done...the cake that won just blew me away.
Thoughts about this show?

I love the food network! I just wish I had cable so I could see it again... sweatdrop Anyways, it sounds really awesome! Do you think you could find a link of some sorts so I can see what that spiffy cake looked like?

I looked around and couldn't find a picture of all the cakes! sweatdrop
If I find something, I'll definitely post it. The winning cake was Captain Hook cake. It took a lot of skill, planning and balance to make it.

I did a bit of searching around and I found a picture!  Its amazing... I want to make cakes like that someday. heart I got the pic from here. There are a couple of close ups of it, and they explain what they did ( they even had the tail moving! eek ).

Debbie Brown is amazing! we have 3 of her books (Cartoon Cakes, Enchanted Cakes, and Magical Cakes)
My older sister and I have made some of them and it's really time consuming!!! So glad we have a yummy fondant recipe cuz it's all decorated with fondant... store bought stuff is just nasty!

Apparently you have to add flavoring to it.
