Has anybody badmouthed you for gaming or being a tomboy? I'm so mad, about a couple of days ago a girl, (well she troll witch actually) called me a disgrace to all girls behind my back! I want to kick her butt so hard! Has something like that happenned to you?

Besides what really made me mad is that she;s a troll who really doesn't have the right to insult, everyone, like she does...

I haven't been insulted for being a gamer or tomboy, but I got really annoyed how way back when, classmates would call me a tomboy for the sole reason I liked video games. And no matter how many times I said I wasn't a tomboy, they just kept saying I was. It REALLY annoyed me. Only a handful of the class actually agreed with me or just didn't care. But that generalization really annoyed me.

I haven't been insulted yet.
The most I've gotten was a few "You play games?" comments in a conversation of what we like to do in our spare time once.
People didn't seem to think of me as a Tomboy in school though. I never found out why.

I've never been insulted for playing games. Usually whenever it comes up the people I talk to admit to being gamers themselves

Gee... if anything I think I get hit on more because I am a tomboy and gamer. Guess it depends on how you look/carry yourself too. I mean sure I get called a lezbo once in a while or some random thing like that by other girls... but then girls hit on me too.. so wtf. -_-
Don't pay any heed to how people see you... if I did.. there would be a lot of dead racist people. XD

I never get insulted because they know how I hang around with. I hang around with my own "kind" which is mostly boys & tomboys/tomgirls. xd & I have an older sister who would also stand up for me. mrgreen

thats never happened to me, but then again I live in a very liberal part of california.....but even if that ever would happen to me, I'd probibly just ignore it.

I haven't got any crap from anybody for being a girl gamer since I graduated high school, now people just always tell me to grow up and act my age--moreso because I watch cartoons than play video games, but sometimes I get it for the gaming too.

If someone tried to insult me for playing video games or being a tomboy, I'd just laugh at them. I'd like to imagine I'd say something like "Call that an insult? Here's an insult!" followed by a lot of far more hurtful comments in their direction, but in truth I'd probably be too busy laughing (which would probably do the trick as well!)
Especially if they were like "You're a disgrace to all girls!" Oooh, I could come back with "I'm a disgrace? Look at yourself, you're [insert derogatory comments here]".
