It was one of those nice days, the kind you took your children to the park to play war on the jungle gyms. Or you would if you were Penn anyway. He say on one of deserted benches over looking the generously decorated play area as his two adopted sons played among the assembled structures.
Their currant ‘base’ was a covered slide heavily defended with clear plastic water pistols. It had now came down to each other and taking over the base.
Water gun in hand, Aus crept around the situational fort he claimed from the nearby climber actually managing to blend in pretty well in his light colored clothing and skin, a look of determination on his face as he tried to creep around to sneak up on his brother.
Sacha on the other hand was sitting inside the top of the slide, a bag of wafer cookies in his lap as he fiddled with his gun, sometimes sneaking a drink from the hammer end. He swung his legs against the ladder as he peeked down now and then watching out for Aus.

"We're going to the paaaark~ To the paaark~" The little goldcrest was singing aloud, dancing on her tiptoes. Curls bounced in the air, glinting ebony in the sunlight as she did so - the jean skirt hiked a bit higher but she didn't notice. For once, the exuberant attitude was entirely genuine.
She LOVED the outdoors, the sunshine. All of the things that were beautiful were found in nature and Cleo loved it. Her wings flexed and she twisted, giving her sister a wide, toothy mile.
"We're OUTSIDE. Isn't it pretty?" Figures clambered about in the corner of her eyes and the dark girl danced towards the jungle gym. "Look! Little fluffy things with GUNS."
Shilling just wuffed, following along the other three. Heeee didn't want to be here. ;; No.

Tyven simply nodded, but had a small smile on her face, finding it hard not to be infected with Cleo's real good mood. They were getting to know one another a lot better nowadays. She'd suggested going to the park, so they could spar in a sunny place that Cleo could enjoy, rather than the gym that Tyven often went to. Azucar didn't mind being here, after all, the sun was very warm, and there weren't many children.
She also spotted the boys, who seemed to be playing a game. Of course, one was far more into it than the other, and raised a brow. They looked a lot like D-corp experiments. "Let's see what they're up to, hmm?" Who said she wasn't sociable?

Aus’ ears lie flat against his head as his tongue pursed from his lips. He had him in his sights, the perfect shot lined up. It was if all the deities of headshots delivered unto him this golden opportunity.
"Look! Little fluffy things with GUNS."
Round yellow eyes caught his just before a streak of water splatted him in the face making him sputter and flail.
“Gogh’cha” Sacha cheered as a wafer hung from the corner of his mouth, and he climbed partially down the ladder to see who spoke up in the first place. He grinned around the cookie and looked to his brother, ignoring the daggers being stared up at him.
“People are comink!” He said pointing toward the approaching pair. "Hello!"

Cleo had to giggle at the squirt and the flailing, sputtering little cat thing. Her shirt fluffed up as she flounced over - she knew her sister was with her! Tyv offered to come talk and she wouldn't abandon Cleo like that, now would she?
"Hello!" She called back, one arm raising up in a quick wave towards the duo, getting up close enough to peer at them.
"You're so CUTE and FLUFFY. What are you? Cats? What are you doing - is that water?"
So curious, so curious she was. Cleo was almost wriggling. NEW people! And it was warm and sunny and NICE.

"They appear to be jaguars, if you look at the spots." Tyven frowned slightly, standing behind her short sister, and examined the two. Same age, plus the no-doubling up of DNA at D-corp would make them twins, wouldn't it? What would Tyven do if she was Rapier...? She'd make Cleo play with the boys. It'd been a while since the bird practiced being quick on her feet and dodgning.
"Whatever it is, why don't we play?"

Sacha grinned down at Cleo, her cheerful nature very infectious as he giggled. Hooking his arm around the ladder, he took the cookie from his mouth so he could speak.
“Ja! Ve’re Jagvhars~.” He echoed from Tyven’s answer beaming slightly.
Aus eyed the pair warily, He’d not had many experience with girls save for the occasional elder woman pinching his cheeks…how he hated the pinching. The shorter one called them cute as well; this couldn’t be a good sign.
“Des are our vater guns. Ve’re playink var.” A glimmer of boyish mischief crossing his face at the suggestion.
“Suure you can play vit us… I’m Auslier; zat’s my brother, Sacha.” He said thumbing up at the darker colored boy who had gone back up to get his bag of cookies. “Vat’s your names?”

For a moment, she had a hard time following what they were saying. She paused, blinking and tilting her head a bit to the side. Wha...
"Huh? OH. War." She blinked and then gave both o the boys another smile. "I'm Cleo, this is my sister Tyven! The gold dragon is Shilling and the black one is Azucar. They're ours."
Theirs, theirs theirs~ Shilling hummed out under his breath, giving a serpentine wriggle as he pranced along to lean against his girls legs. Cleo just laughed. "Do you have any extra guns?"

Azucar sent a gust of warm air at the boys, ruffling their hair, before lying down in the sandbox, preparing to sun. A large part of Tyven wanted to join him, but instead she waited to recieve a gun, and let her purple eyes examine their battlegrounds. "How should we make the teams fair?" Tyven and Cleo were a lot bigger, they shouldn't be on the same team, should they?

Aus’ expression faltered slightly at the mention of dragons, somehow in his plotting, he seemed to over look this rather GLARING detail as the one called Shilling leaned on Cleo’s leg. Feeling his tail bristle out, he put on as much bravado as a little boy could.
“Vhy do you have dragons??” he found himself absently grabbing for the ladder of the slide. Blinking in surprise as his hair is tousled in the breeze.
Sacha peered upside down from the top of the slide, giggling as the breeze tickles his face. “Cool!” His brow furrowed as he looked about himself, patting his pockets. “Hm.. No, guns on me…Aus?”
Aus gnawed on his bottom lip as he looked toward their guardian. “Daad, do ve have any guns left??”
Penn glanced up from his paper and blinked, absently he reached into a bag sitting by his side and pulled out the remaining package of cheap toy water guns. “Don’t go starting revolutions, y’ hear.” He joked tossing it to the boy.
“Ve won’t~” He mewed back peeling open the package rejoining the group, albeit a little farther away from the dragons…
“Ve can do it in teams of two und use the playground as our bas--.”
“I call the slide!” Sacha cheered before fully letting his brother finish.
“--…if you’re sqvirted you’re dead.”

"D-Corp gave them to us." Cleos answer was rather prompt, blinking over to Aus and giving the twins a cheerful, happy smile. "Shilling's kinda dumb, though, so you don't have to worry about him."
Azucar, she couldn't speak for however. The gold and her sisters dragon seemed to get along decently; there had been no physical fights and the shiny, dark dragon seemed to realize that Shilling was of no danger to him. He was simply all things Cleo pretended to be.
"I like revolutions! Have you guy seen V for Vendetta?" They should - they said the V sound often enough! It would be fun! Cleo bounced over to them (noting that while she was short for her age, they were still smaller then her) and offered her hands out for the water guns. "If we're squirted anywhere or just in someplace that's deadly? Cause Mam says if it hits an arm or leg and doesn't burst a major...uh. Thing. Then you can still live for a little while."

"Artery?" Tyven supplied, taking one of the guns and examining it. Cool. She prefered being up-close-and-personal, but they were a lot smaller than her. This was a lot more fair. "Azucar won't play." Another pause, and the girl eyed the slide, before choosing not to climb the ladder. "I will play on Auslier's team. Is that fair?" They were both probably the more serious of the sibling pairs.
The tall girl headed over to a spigot, taking her sister's gun with her, and filled both with water before returning, and giving it back to Cleo. "There."

Seeming to be relieved that the dragons were not there to make snacks out of him and his brother for playing with water guns and the two girls, Aus’ fur seemed to settle.
“No, never seen zat movie. I’ll ask if we can rent it.” Aus said as he gave a polite but crooked grin to Cleo. He blinked up at Tyven when she offered to play on his team and nodded unsurely. If he had any evil plans in mind they were fizzed in a small gush of boyish shyness.
“We would have had water balloons… but we keep popping them with our nails.” He said dragging a toe through the sand.
Sacha on the other hand was still munching contently on his cookies, climbed down to share with them. He dusted his hand off on his side as he pointed to his brother.
“Ja, if you get hit in ze face like he did, you’re out.” Waving off the angry pout from his twin he added, “But since you guys are here, ve start over.”
