New: Voting Process has now started, cast in your top three! (doesn't have to be in order, it'll be like 3 votes) Put your vote in white, and post it on this thread. Read my vote to see example.
I want everyone to vote fairly and help out on the voting process. Originally I was going to give 500 gold to people who voted, but I want people to vote out of the goodness of their heart. The more people that vote the more I might hold another contest ^_^.
The contest has been extended another week, voting ends August 18th or 19th
Here's the banners we have so far! The contest is open to all entries right now. It'll be open till midnight of the 4th of August. Please don't post them on here, but send them to me through IMs or PMs. On the 5th it'll be open up to voting. Get more information from the Event and Contest thread. Have a wonderful day everyone.
Note: Although the guild banner is set up as the second entry, this is the banners for your signatures. Fell free to submit of any size that you think would be reasonable for a signature picture ^_^.
Oh additional news, the guild banner contest was covered in a different thread, but I'll put it here. The first place prize will be from 10k-15k in gold or a mystery box of a donation item around 10k-15k
Second place will receive an item of 5k-9k or the gold value
Third place will receive an item of 1k-3k or 2.5k gold

Okay well sometimes, even if we're not meaning to, we get influenced by what we see. So vote before you highlight everything to make the voting more fair to the entries, after you vote it is fair game if you want to look at everyone's vote. Anyways, put your top three in any order you want to. This way we're insured that indeed 3 people will win. You can write additional stuff (also in white font) why you voted if you want to, to perhaps compliment the creator of it ^_^. The voting process will end this friday. Yes a long time of votes, but people don't always have time to vote, so it'll be up for a while. First off I'd like to say everyone did an amazing job and thank you all for submitting, I really wish I could vote on all of you.
Here's my vote:
Entry 5: I really liked the phrase "Come, be LITERATE. Especially since it doesn't imply you have to be literate, but to come be literate, as we'll teach you if you're not. So a great little do da there ^_^.
Entry 6: Haha that really shows the L.O.L. in us, the funny side, and our willing to improve when we have faults ^_^. But most importantly it really did make me laugh haha.
Entry 8: "For the beauty of Literacy" Another nice phrase that just stands out to me. Literacy can indeed be soooo beautiful, and it is about time people started to spread it around ^_^.

~Entry #8: Yep, I support such beauty of literacy. Not to mention the nice sepia feeling the banner gives off. xD
~Entry #9: It's intimidating to those who'd want to step up for the improvement and upholding of literacy. Kinda' like a challenge! It even shows a great deal of a "legion". xP

Entry 1: When I look at this one, and along with it it has the guild title and moto, I can't help but think "A whole new level of adventure" here means leading to new adventures, stories, genres, characters, and much more because of the pages it holds behind it.
Entry 4: I just really liked the way this one looked and all. ^___^
Entry 7: This one was very curious to me! It gave me the feeling on how that, if you'd follow along the road to all the rps, such oppurunity would be given to you. =D

Entry 6: Okay, I just have to say that I love this banner, it's really cute and shows that our Legion can work as a team! Did I mention it's cute? XD
Entry 7: There's something about this banner that just appeals to me. Maybe it's the bright color's mixed with the black and white designs that really makes it pop. Or the fact that the girl is cute, and that if you do follow along you can eventually become a leader in literacy ^^
Entry 8: I really do like the phrase, because literacy is beautiful to write and to read all together. I also like thae color scheme, and the picture of the elfen warrior type guy is mysterious and almost alluring XD

Entry 5 - I like this greatly because of the background and the simpleness of it. It does not have to be flashy or anything, and is actually quite splendid! I love this a lot and it caught me like an arrow caught a rab- apple. x_x
Entry 6 - This is great too! Quite fun-neh ( translated to funny ) and shows the meaning of literacy, be able to spell!!! At least part of the many reasons for it. ^_^ Shows the crew too, which is coool.
Entry 8 - I like the ancient feel to it, and though the elven man looks like he's going to kill someone, it looks pretty to me. ^_^

Entry 4: I like this picture because it looks something real, it is calm and bright; the picture itself brings my eyes to it.
Entry 3: I think whoever drew these wings should be very proud of their work, this is a first place picture in my mind.
Entry 7: More of a techno-pop banner, something catchy and fun for not only the mind but the eyes as well.

Ah it is so difficult to decide!
Entry numero seis (#6 ><): I chose this one because it draws attention and it is hilarious, it should really bring in people. Not to mention it really shows how much fun being literate is and it emphasizes that oh-so-clever acronym. Being somewhat of a comedian, I believe I should remind everyone to never underestimate the power of laughter. I also like how it humanizes the main identities in the guild and suggests that they're there to help everyone become literate if they aren't already.
Entry #8: Hmm I like this one because it really hi-lights how beautiful language and writing is. It really gets me right in the heart.
Entry #7: I vote for this banner for two resons: because it applies peer pressure which works quite well and because I don't believe voting for entry number six twice is an option.

Banner 6 - Just too awesome. It made me laugh a bit. My personal favorite!
Banner 3 - Love it. It's simple but it's great. Love the wings!
Banner 8 - Adds that fantasy feel to it, which I love!

I like the idea of that banner. It's simple, yes...but To me, it sort of comes out as "Let literacy take flight." Plus the wings are very pretty. ^_^ Nicely done!
Banner# 6
It's very adorable! It says what the guild is about, but it shows that we still make mistakes once in a while...and that it's ok. It makes for a good laugh too! Love it.
Banner# 8
It gives it a certain special feel, I think. It shows that literacy isn't just about labcoats and William Shakespeare! Yes! People have said that to me! XD I really like this one.

I like entries 8-10. They all have an epic feel to them, and well.... I think that goes hand in hand with being a legion.
