DDB (( Sorry for disappearing. I had to make myself a sandwish. I was starving! I hadn't eaten anything all day and it's 4pm! ))
"Good to see you too." She grinned. "Major projects? Oh she still into her chemicals? I remember her making some sour stuff. What else has she been up to?"
Looking up as Nar entered, she gave him a grin. "Hey ya. Yeah it is rather. I'll have to get my sleeping schedule back in order.""Oh that'ss good, you'll still get to ssee him. He helped you build a bomb? Wasn't that dangerousss? I thought they blew up?" He's seen enough action/adventure movies to know what bombs were. "You blew up a car?! Whoa! That must have been a big bomb!" Moo grimaced. "Moreso than before, I'm afraid. There've been lots since the goop... Her muffins, the fixing the hovercraft, the airplane, that bomb, the army, the remote control car..." She sighed, shrugging. "'Bout time she's taken a break. What've you an' Sid been up to?" "Yah, we built a bomb," Acia cheerfully replied, glad to talk about her project. "We were careful. S'only dangerous if ya add the water too fast. It wasn't a normal bomb. That'd be too hard. 'Twas a cesium reaction thing. I-" She paused, realizing she was about to take off into alon technical ramble, and that Sid probably wouldn't understand half of it. "Umm... Yah, so, it wasn't dangerous, but it didn't really work right when we finished it." She sighed.
After a moment, she giggled and shook her head. "Nah, we didn't blow up a car. Me and Ana found this remote control car builder kit...thing, and we built it, but we fixed it so the remote went in the hood. We could sit in it and drive it!!! 'Twas fun, but we went way, way too fast and wrecked. That's how the car got messed up."

(( Oh.... I'm sure one little out-of-place post wouldn't hurt. mrgreen ))
"Whoa! Sounds like your life's been pretty jam-packed all this time. Muffins and remote cars sound ok, but bombs, planes and the army?! What on earth happened with them?" D's quite surprised at all that Moo said. "Yes, a break seems like a very good idea."
Unfortunatly her own adventures with her velvet have been alot less interesting and she looks sheepishly at Moo. "Ah well... Sid and I haven't been doing anything quite as exciting..... Sidney's been working hard on his skills. He can freeze water now but boiling it is taking some more work. Oh and he's still got to work on his hypnotism more, I really ought to ask Nar about that..... and myself, oh just keeping myself busy with work and things...." She says vaguely.
Sidney listened intently as Acia talked about her bomb. He was sure why you needed water in it and things started to get even more confusing after that. Fortunatly she seemed to realise and stoped that train of explaination. "Oh it didn't work? What was it suppossed to do?"
The car was exciting though! And he visibly perked up at the mention of it. "Sshame it crasshed, that ssounded like it'd be heapss of fun! Maybe you could make another one? I'll help ya!"
He glanced over at the panda sitting with them. Did it know what they were saying? He tried to think back to when he didn't have arms. Yeah, he could understand most things said. That meant this one could too!
"Ssso.... hi! I'm Ssid." He waved a scaly hand at it. "Ssay, do you guys want to do ssomething? Like a game?"

"Umm...the muffins were just out of the blue. She wrecked the remote control car when she was playin' with Ana. The bomb exploded, and wasn't as great as she'd hoped. We distracted her until she forgot about the army, and the airplane is still fine, thankfully." Moo chuckled softly, flashing her friend a grin. "I'd much prefer Sid's adventures, I'm sure. Acia hasn't been expanding much on her wind skills... Since that whole mess on Halloween, she's avoided using them except to get around."
"Well, it was supposed to blow up." Acia shrugged, grimacing faintly. "And it did! Just...not like I thought it would. I must've done somethin' wrong." She paused, then grinned, cheering considerably. "That's a good idea!! We'll just haveta be careful not to crash it this time! I'll see if I can get Moo to buy another kit."
She followed his gaze to the panda, waching her curiously. She remembered her as a plush, though hadn't met since... Would Khun remember who she was? She shrugged it off, then smiled, deciding to reintroduce herself anyway. "An' I'm Acia. Congrats on growin'! Umm, a game sounds good." She glanced to Sid, tiling her head. "Whatcha wanna play?"

Marl had made himself comfortable and found the two women's conversation to be quite interesting.
Khun Ying was a little amazed at what the two other velveets were talking about. She couldn't even begin to imagine what it would be like to make bombs, but the muffins seemed something she could do. She made a note to ask her mother to bake some, once Huni returned that is...

"Probably a fortunate thing the bomb wasn't as good as she planned if it exploded." D mused. While Sidney did get into some mildly dangerous spots it was usually only himself and no one else that was put at risk. "Ah I'm afraid she'll have to leave behind any bombs if she comes to visit. Muffins are perfectly acceptable though." She chuckled.
"Oh so Acia's got some type of wind skill? Sidney told me they were using their well, powers I suppose they are, at Kanth's party. Ah but what mess on Halloween? I'm afraid I didn't really do anything for the occassion."
Sidney was curious how a bomb could explode 'wrong'. If it blew up, it blew up. But noticing her pause and downcast expression on the topic he decides not to inquire further. "I'm sure you won't crash it again. You would know how to drive it better now, right? Oh and if we take it outside into the field then there'd be heaps to room to drive about with nothing to get in the way."
"Hmmm..." He ponders on what sort of game they could play. "Hide and seek is always good. Oh and I've got my cards with me if you know any card games. I only know solitare but LP was saying something about 'fish'?" He's not sure what sort of game would be easiest for the panda to play, especially if she couldn't talk yet.

Khun Ying tilted her head a little to consider her options, the game of hide and seek interested her. Strawberry loved playing that game, and it would be a fun chance to be hiding for a change. The green panda padded closer to the two and tried her best to phantomime the words "hide and seek." Though she looked more like she was playing peek-a-boo rather than hide and seek.

"I rigged it," Moo admitted quietly, flashing D a cheeky grin. "Changed a few things to lessen the explosion. An' don't worry, Acia won't bring any of her experiments over. Except for maybe some muffins. She's taken to making them whenever she can, because they're the only thing she can cook without ruining."
After a short while she nodded, glancing towards the Velvets chatting nearby. "Mmhmm. She can control the wind, pretty well, might I add. Umm.." She trailed off, frowning faintly. "I really can't tell you much of Halloween. I was unconscious for most of it. To the wind bit, she mentioned something about accidently summoning a tornado, as well as a few other things. None of it was intentional, it seems, but all the same..." She shrugged.
"Oh, that wasn't the problem," Acia chirped in reply. "We were good drivers! We just went really fast, an' the water kept us from turnin' right, so we hit a wall. I'm sure we'd be perfectly fine in a field!" Acia seemed happy with this suggestion, nodding absently to herself.
Before Acia could reply, Khun offered her suggestion. But that was alright, because she chose the same thing Acia would have! ...Assuming that she meant hide and seek and not peek-a-boo. Acia had never liked peek-a-boo. It was obvious the person was still there, so where was the excitement in it? "Yah, hide an' seek! Who'll be 'it'?"

"Ah well I'd say that was ok. I'd hate to think what sort of damage it would have done if you hadn't." D says with a smile before looking more concerned. "You were unconsious? Why? What happened? You didn't get caught up in that construction accident at Gambino's mansion, did you? I heard about it on the news... and what about Acia summoning up a tornado? I never knew they could get that powerful." She's slightly taken aback by what Moo has to say.
Sidney nodded. Hide and seek was fine in his book. It was alot like hunting out tasty little mice.... ah but he'd eaten recently. Besides, he wasn't about to eat another velvet. Still, the hunting and search was fun and so he didn't mind volenteering to be 'it'.
"I don't mind sseeking first. You two go hid and I'll count to ten, then come and find you." He curled up were he was and tucked his tail over his eyes. "Ready? One..... two....."

Khun Ying quickly hurried away, trying to sniff out a small corner to hide in. It was quite obvious that the panda was more accustomed to searching than being it, as foraging for food was second nature to pandas. (Though in her case, the 'food' was her little sister Strawberry) She was at a loss as to where to hide, and decided on a gamble.
She padded to where D and Moo were, hiding behind one of the women's legs, hopefully out of Sid's sight. She imploringly looked up at the velvet guardians not to give her away.
((Mwahaha, Khun's always the it back at home XD This is a new thing for her!))

"That I did," Moo replied, grimacing. "Kanth, LP, and I were at the Halloween party there. Was knocked out when the bomb hit, lucky enough to get thrown clear of the house..." She shrugged slightly. "It's a long story. Umm... as I said, I don't know much about what happened... From what I do know, Acia was so worried and...mad that she summoned the tornado without meaning to. Rescued Naraka from a bunch of zombies with it." Again she shrugged, sighing. "I'm really not sure... I tried asking her, and she wouldn't say much.."
Pausing, Moo glanced down to Khun as the panda ducked behind her legs, raising an eyebrow curiously before realizing what was going on an grinning her acknowledgement. So as not to alert Sid of the panda Velvet's presence, she returned her eyes to D, fighting to control her grin.
Meanwhile, Acia was busy searching for her own hiding spot. She had a few good ones in mind, but she really didn't think they would be fair... After all, she could reach a lot of places most other Velvets couldn't. She finally settled for crawling between some plushies on one of the lower shelves, high enough that one couldn't immediately see her, but not so far that Sid couldn't reach the shelf.
((XD Khun's such a cutie heart Acia's used to playing with a couple of fairies o_o So....yeah xD))

"Blimey! Are you ok? Well... obviously, since you're sitting here." D exclaimed. She was about to ask about Naraka and LP but she had seen them since then and so they were fine as well. "Zombies? I heard rummors afterwards but I didn't know they were true... and if Acia did it to rescue Nar, well I'm sure it couldn't have ended too badly. Heat of the moment and all that."
D glanced down as the little panda scrurried behind Moo's legs. Spotting Sidney counting a little way off in the corner she realised what they were up to.
"Eight.... Nine..... Ten! Ready or not, here I come!" Sidney cried as he finished his counting. It was best to give his prey some warning, not to mention those were the rules of the game.
He uncovered his eyes and looked about. He appeared alone in the store, well except the two humans and giant snake-man. But that was what he was expecting. It wouldn't be much of a game if he could see them.
Instead he began to slither about, flickering his tongue and tasting the air for any scents of traces of heat. There was a whole bunch of heat and scents coming from the couch where D and Moo sat, but he assumed it was simply them and didn't investigate there further. Instead he moved along the floor, checking around the desk.

The medusa suppressed a grin at the choice Khun Ying made as her hiding spot. He made a note to inform Huni about this, once she returns from her sudden leave of absence.
Khun Ying giggled beneath her breath, it was instinctive really, she was nervous and giddy about playing with another velveteen. She only hoped she was quiet enough to avoid detection, not quite knowing that snakes used body heat to find their target. She risked a quick peek to find Sidney searching around the desk before ducking back behind Moo's legs.

"Aye, I'm fine," Moo assured her with a wave of her hand. She winced, nodding slightly. "Very true, I'm afraid. Was a 'zombie' for a short while myself until someone dumped some antidote thingy down my throat... Ehh...she meant well, I think. But a tornado in that area..? With all those old buildings, I'd be surprised if she hasn't knocked anything over. I haven't had a chance to check..." Luckily, everyone had been too busy with the zombies to worry about the freak weather of that evening. "I doubt Acia'll do anything that large again, though."
Acia ducked further beneath the plushes when she heard the count of 'Ten', stiffling a giggle. She managed to remain silent, and listened intently for any sound that Sid may be aproaching. From her position, she couldn't see much of anything...except a bit of the ceiling. But that was probably for the better, because if she couldn't see them, they couldn't see her! ...Right?
