Ok, I thought of a cool idea. In this here post we, the role players in the guild create a story. It will be exactly what we rp about, exactly how we rp ut we'll include all the ships and characters and places in here. We'll try and get a beginning, middle and end. Get action, drama, and suspense. We'll have old characters and new.
One thing I must ask tho is should we start how things are now? Like for example I'm Bigs, but I used to be Sir but now Sir is dead as Bigs yet he doesn't know it. Should I be Bigs now or Sir, from back a long time ago? I think this could be a great story especially with all of us working on it. After you put it on here i'll start putting it into a story on Word.
What do ya say?

Aye, I like this here idea. It will give me a chance to pratice Rping with my D&D pirate character, Damon "The Demon". I even drew a picture of the guy. Although it not done yet, but its almost there...

Yea, this is definatly a good idea. As far as your own question you can be sir. Tiny in the begging and towards the middle of the story we would cover his "death" and how you become Mr. Bigs. pirate

Not Really, there aren't many people active on this RPG. If we want sucess we should post this idea on another section of the forum like the Off Topic section to get more support.

I think you should just be whoever you want. All these Roleplays don't have to be canon with the story, or with eachother.

Or I could sticky it. This section has been sorta dead, and RPing is what pulls a lot of people into our guild, so I think it's important for there to be a main, fun, and popular thread. Tortuga works out pretty well, since it's an actual well-described place in the movie, but it has no story. People introduce their characters there and get ideas for their own thread, but it's otherwise just drunk rambling...Maybe you guys could sorta capitalize on the whole "Be in POTC" idea? Like having people roleplay in an actual event in the story? Like in the third one where all the pirate lords launch their fleets...Or think of something, like a huge (plausable?) battle that everyone could participate in?

we actually have a post like that. The "Tortuga's Coast" thread is a section for a fictional battle. Every RPer is welcome to join in and choose their side in the war. feel free to check it out. ^.^

well for a while there's been a story going on involving a couple threads:
-Santo Columbia
-Split skull tavern
-Dagger
-Death Wind
-Mystik
-Lockheart
a summery of the story is in the Tortuga's Coast thread.

OOOOOOH! just got an idea: we could also cover how i came about gettin to tortuga in the first place, if that wouldn't bore ye to death, and later on we can show what REALLY happened many years ago, heheh
but, i digress, this is an awesome idea
