Day 1: Ahh... the first day of Expo! It was uber hot that day D:

Events/Panels went to: Opening Ceremony, SOS Brigade (Yuko Goto, Minori Chihara, Aya Hirano) Focus Panel
Things bought: Death Note Vol. 12, D. Gray-Man Vol. 5, Bleach Vol. 19, Moogle plushie, Urahara plushie, Alphonse plushie, Hitsugaya button, Grimmjaw button, Ulquiorra button, 2 Sasuke buttons (Regular Sasuke and ANBU Sasuke), Samurai Panda T-shirt, Ninja Panda T-shirt
Things Ate/Drank: Powerade and a crappy plain pretzel :/
Other notes: Yuko Goto, Minori Chihara and Aya Hirano are absolutely adorable during their focus panel<3, The opening ceremony was fun! Me and my bro got pretty good seats ^^
The focus panel for the SOS Brigade was awesome! I got to see Yuko, Minori, and Aya for the first time! (They weren't there for the opening ceremony) Timotei~ Timotei~ Timotei!
I saw one of my best friends from school at the Exhibit hall xD
Lines were hella long, and it almost felt like years just standing and waiting there, the weather was gonk not pretty. All in all, it was a pretty fun day. The moogle plushie I bought was around $28, I thought it was only $8 because the little price sticker blocked out the 2 so it only read "$8.95", blah I was tricked! I still bought it anyways xD
Anna Tsuchiya was in the car behind us when me and my bro were going back home! xd
Total money spent: $99

Day 2: 2nd day! The day I cosplayed as Haku :3 If I remember correctly, 3 people shouted out "Haku!" and waved at me, and just 8 people took my picture, one of them told me that Haku was one of his most favorite characters XD P.S. People who noticed me were mostly dressed as Naruto characters =O Oh well, it was fun! I wanna cosplay next year~ X3

Events/Panels went to: SOS Brigade Invasion Tour
Things bought: Suzumiya Haruhi T-Shirt (well my bro bought it for me after the concert)
Things Ate/Drank: Powerade and a hot dog :/
Other notes: SOS Brigade Invasion tour was a LONG wait, I think I waited for almost 3 hours before actually going into arena where the concert was to be held. After we got inside, we had to wait at least another 1 - 2 hours before the show started, which was originally supposed to start at 4:30, but started an hour later -_- Ah well, the show was good especially the ending ^^ All of the Brigade members danced to Hare Hare Yukai xD (That's right, Aya Hirano, Minori Chihara, and Yuko Goto danced the Hare Hare Yukai dance) along with the winners of the HHY dance contest earlier that day at the Bandai booth, the members of ASOS Brigade, Johnny Young Bosch, Mary Elizabeth Mcglynn, and I think the translator of the show danced, too XD At the end, Johnny Bosch complained that he didn't know any of the steps to the dance, it was funny XD
Hmm... oh, when me and my bro were eating lunch we decided to sit by the arena where the concert was being held. 10 minutes later some guy tries to open one of the doors me and my bro were sitting in front of (I thought they were just walls, but found out later they were doors), and I got hit real bad on my back Dx I thought to myself, DID THAT GUY NOT SEE THE OTHER DOOR OPEN? He didn't even apologize! mad Whatever though, it's not like I had to go to the hospital or anything.. =x
Total money spent: $7 XD (Because I spent all my money on the 1st day)

Day 3: That day was a blah day. Me and my bro went home earlier than usual because there wasn't that much going on Dx

Events/Panels went to: Oreskaband concert
Things bought: Bulbasaur plushie, Full Metal Alchemist patch, Rock Lee patch, and a Bleach patch
Things Ate/Drank: Western Bacon Cheeseburger and a Coke from Carl's Jr.
Other notes: It was a dull day. The only highlight of it was the Oreskaband concert. It was so awesome! I just love those girls, they taught the audience how to say "Thank you" and "See you!" in 'osakan' terms. It was fun ^^ Other than that, there wasn't much to do, maybe it was because me and my bro missed the autograph session with the SOS Brigade members... well not miss it, but simply wasn't able to, they were only taking 50 - 100 people and judging from where we waited in line, it was already impossible to get their autograph sad
Total money spent: $20!

Last, but not least, Day 4: Last day of Expo sad There was hardly anyone there in the morning, but me and my bro soon found out later that most of the attendees were already lining up for the screening of the Transformers movie O_O It was like only 8 in the morning, the movie didn't start until 1pm Dx

Events/Panels went to: Halko Momoi concert, Charity Auction, Closing Ceremony
Things bought: Kon as Hitsugaya plushie (probably the best thing I've bought at the Expo) xD and an chibi Envy keychain ^^
Things Ate/Drank: Nothing. Me and my bro waited until we got home to eat. gonk
Other notes: The Halko Momoi concert was probably one of the best concerts I've seen. Although there was less people at the concert, the reaction and fanbase of the audience was probably the biggest ever. You could tell from being there that the majority of attendees there were all Momoi fans ^^ I enjoyed that concert very much, and even got glowsticks! She also sang a cover of "Video killed the radio star". At the end of the concert, Momoi-san started crying sad I guess it was because she had to cancel most of her other 'panels' at AX just to get ready for the concert for her fans. I'm not a huge fan of her, but I really do like her music whee I was about to cry as well xD Anyways, after a moment of tears, she gave some of the audience members a ball with her autograph on it. Me and my bro didn't get anything, but we could have gotten something if we had sat closer! gonk Oh well, it was a fun concert. :3
The charity auction was fun, too! xD They were auctioning off some drawings drawn by the guest of honors (Eisaku Inoue [Chief animation director for One Piece movies], Tetsuro Araki [Director of the Death Note anime], and Masaru Kitao [Character designer for the Death Note anime, not manga]). There was also a picture of Gaia's Sasha drawn by Gaia's artist person O_o *can't find correct words atm*. The final bidding price was $880! OxO"
After that was the closing ceremonies, it was great xD They announced next year's AX location and dates (Los Angeles Convention Center during July. 3 - 6) And a lot of people were chanting "One more day!" when that one guy said "AX is officially over."
Yeah, I had tons of fun. I miss AX already. Can't wait for next year though! YAY!
Total money spent: $20! (again)

FREE STUFF FROM AX: I got a whole crapload of free posters, bags, sample manga, CD's, and cards xD That's basically it.

Positives of AX: The theme of AX this year was music, so the GoH's (Guest of Honor) were really great! I also lived close to the convention center
Negatives of AX: Disorganized staff, long lines and wait time, horrible start time for main events, convention center was way too spread out; in order to go to one place you have to at least walk half a mile to your destination. Also, you weren't able to go back to the Exhibit hall without walking such a far distance back to the main entrance of the building Dx The Artist's Alley was so cramped up, it was hard to get through there without having to be sandwiched in between people. Heck, there was also another continued part of the Artist's Alley which in order to get there you had to walk all the way across the building. I'm still in pain from all the walking, and my skin got darker from waiting in line for hours in the sun.

And that concludes my trip to AX 2007. Sorry I have no pictures to show you, there was hardly any cosplayers this year which I found hard to believe (Most of the cosplays I've seen were all the same anyway Dx A lot of Haruhi cosplays... A LOT, Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, etc. I only saw a few different cosplays that hardly anybody dressed as, like Tsukasa and Konata from Lucky Star), and I'm sorry I have no pics to show you of me in my Haku outfit emo I was in a real hurry the day I cosplayed, so I didn't get to take any pictures. I know I could have took pictures at the con, but I was busy focusing on the main events. eek (bad excuse I know) Maybe when I get a chance to dress up again I'll take more pictures ^^

Can't wait for AX2008~ YEAH! heart

NOTE: This took me the whole day to type up. I probably forgot some things~

YES OMG I SAW HER!

She is SO DAMN ADORABLE! heart

During the Q&A session someone asked her to do the "Timotei" thing like what she did in Lucky Star and OH. MY. GOD. I almost died of the cuteness. XD
Two guys also asked her what her "type" was and if she was single rofl

Too bad we weren't allowed to take pictures or video tape them, but hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to see the SOS Brigade Invasion Tour Concert and probably get her autograph during the autograph session. biggrin I'm going to ask her to sign my Death Note Vol. 4 manga since it has Misa on the cover. ^^

P.S. She also sang the Dragonball Z theme song heart

Woah.
Big.
Read all.
Ouch.
eyes...

YC, why is it that even AX is pitifully unorganized?
Any con I've EVER gone to in my life is just obscene that way.
>_< WE SHOULD TAKE OVER!

Yup, if you look at the forums of the AX website, you will at least see 3 or more threads complaining about this year's AX.

Aw, I'm really glad you had a good time. I read a lot of threads at 4chan complaining about all the things you complained about but I'm really glad you had fun regardless. :3
