Well, today I walked into the store again, and saw their new shipment of baby corn snakes. I fell into love with one of them after holding them for a little bit. For once, it didn't musk me, coiled around my fingers and just sorta sat there content. Then some kids started running amok and scared the poor dear.

It's not used to human contact yet, so it'll probably bond better at this age. I think that probably was what won me over, more then anything else. I'll hopefully find out gender soon and then just get 'im on the 12th after my anime con. ~o~

My mother has this fear of snakes, but wont tell me what she fears about them. D: So she's planning on never entering my room again, which by all means is fine with me for many reasons. I'm pretty good about keeping it clean anyways. Since this is a new apartment, all I have to do right now to set it up is to finish painting the walls, let dry, hang some wall scrolls and the TV and done. <3

I just gotta find the safest place for the tank though. The window area would cause too much heat, do you think?

I'm getting a 10gal and I have a surface I'm putting it on. Then I'll probably keep the little guy next to my bed to keep from excess sunlight and heat, since I can't keep him in the closet.
