to keep my stuff in one place and whatnot I shall have all my crap in a sketchbook like thread....

first up on the slab is one of two Gaia 40k inquisitor sketchumadoodles....this one belongs to somebody you folk oughta know well...

I am cleaning this one up.,...fixing the problems I have noticed...and I am going to attempt to add a familiar to the background....a cherub....of somebody you know...

next sketch....another Gaia 40k inquisitor sketchumadoodle belonging to Gendou......in sever cleanup and whatnot...might dump for a redo...

Thats not how abs work! Angle man is broke or somthing. His arms are too short also.

The other two guys, are pretty generic - battle types. But I like how you manages to make the first one actually look like zahir. Again - cleen up issues. Ink ink ink!

The chick... um, her face doesn't really fit her body. It's like you drew different parts from different referances or somthing. I don't know. Also: vibrator attached to belt?

All in all, I would say good job. But I don't see much improvment from your older stuff. You kind of seemed to ignore all of the people who told you to work on clean-up. But I do like how you drew some people, anstead of robo-zombies.

got any pointers on doing proper abs...I'd love to pick em up and incorperate em....I am always willing to tighten my anatomy further...

my sketches are always in a messy state prior to inking....save the ones that get the stump treatment.....and I prefer doing a gritty clean sketch (as I call em)...loose enough to still be fiddled with and just tight enough to tick people off...its a personal thing....Inking means final cleanup and finalization of the design in my mind....

As for "Mod Inquisitor" Zahir of the GD and Inquisitor Gendou....its the unholy clash of this webisite with the tabletop game Warhammer 40000 (if you havent already realized...)... http://us.games-workshop.com/games/40k/daemonhunters/catalog/inquisitor.htm and http://us.games-workshop.com/games/40k/daemonhunters/catalog/coteaz.htm was all I had to work with on the WH40k side....generic yes...but was fun to do....(funny note...n00bs got stuck in the forces of Chaos..insult to chaos...)

as for the blue mage chick...thingy...I took a saw the Guild Wars box in a gamestore and was inspired from there....though 8 hrs later in a car...with no ref...Magic the Gathering got thrown into the fold somehow........and a bit of personal flavor..for better and for worse.....and yes...your the second person to remind me to redo the scroll hanging from her belt.........

Well... I am not a good words guy. So I cannot really point you out how abs work. If you check out my art, in sig, I am told I so very good abs. Look at Mr. Minotaur, I'M even happy with those abs.

Glad you gave Zahir a different weapon.

I did kinda want to mention that I did a picture almost exactly like your angel one something like five years ago - even down to the creepy-wrong abs. Congrats. biggrin

tweaking occured to all images (fixed the strangely phallic scroll on blue mage yay!)...and a new sketch has been added....

and inking of gendou will occur soon....

I would have to say I like this one best! I am not a fan of the hair though... but you are doing art for MTG so I am not supposed to like anything asides the boobs. RKpost (Brom) is proof of that. He cant draw for crap... well except boobs. No one cares about his lack of evrything else.
