Kay, now being as large a guild as this has become, I'm wondering how many people out there are Yaoi/Yuri fans.
Yaoi or Shonen Ai:
Bascially anime guy/guy relationships. Very popular in Japan aloing with it's sister (pun not intended) genre Yuri. Mostly female's prefer such pairings, but some males do as well.
Yuri or Shojo Ai:
Anime girl/girl relationships. Not as big as Yaoi, but still popular in Japan. Mostly males prefer such pairings, but some females do as well.
Yaoi/Yuri is popular among fan-fictions and doujinshis, mostly of a person's favorite couple (Ex. Inuyasha/Sesshomaru, Kagome/Sango, Naruto/Saskue, Sakura/Hinata, etc.) which normally wouldn't be possible in the anime. While usually slandered in the United States, Yaoi/Yuri in anime and manga is widely accepted in other countries, including it's originating country, Japan.
I myself, am a Yaoi/Yuri fan, but with specific tastes. I don't like all of it, I just like certain couples. For example: I like Inuyasha/Koga and Sango/Kagome pairings; However, I avoid Heero/Duo pairings like the plague.

i'm not into Yaoi, but i will admit, I'm into a little of yuri. I just hope no one thinks i'm a pervert or someting... ninja I don't like all of it though, as Antari has said.

*Gets big evil smirk* I am a HUGE Yaoi fan!! I have all of the Gravitation Manga's and Novel's.... I also like role playing it... ^_^

Lol. Well wlecome my fellow Yuri fans. But hey... I haven't really met a guy who doesn't like Yuri, the anime equivelant to Lesbian on Lesbian pairings. whee

I think their should have been another option for the poll razz
I mean .. I don't Hate either of those.. I have a few Pairings I like I just never say them XD
But I don't look/read it.. you know? I'm not against it or hate it or anything.. it's just something I don't spend my time looking/reading..

I love yaoi. Yaoi is good. Probably the best thing I've seen yet. Roy and Edward from Fullmetal Alchemist is tops...gotta love the yaoi. I'm not fond of yuri though.

I guess I'm in Yaoi a TINY bit, but then again I don't get a chance to watch too mch anime stare I never knew they actually had names for it, I thought it was just storyline stuff. eek
