Prior to this summer I hadn't been allowed to date girls. But finally, after a huge argument, my mom said "IM SICK OF FIGHTING YOU, DATE WHOEVER YOU WANT!" I was all, hey works for me.
So I met this girl and we are in lurve! But my moms all "You tell anyone, you die" pretty much. So we're like secret lovers. I don't care if it's a secret, I like her a lot.
Anyone else out there experiencing their first time dating the same gender? Any memories about first time?

That's really cool. 'Grats! The only people who have ever asked me out are really...not-so-pretty people. Haha. [I'm a gay guy] Two of them stalked me, which didn't help the case. I also get asked out by random girls alot, & I always feel bad telling them "No I'm kind of...gay." Haha, one girl ran away crying. I felt so bad! D:

My first girlfriend had to be a secret, too, only I also had to keep it from my mother. She's not quite as nice as yours, she threatened to send me away to reform camp if I ever did anything else with another girl again. -__-

rubbermuleaccount My first girlfriend had to be a secret, too, only I also had to keep it from my mother. She's not quite as nice as yours, she threatened to send me away to reform camp if I ever did anything else with another girl again. -__- Haha, 'reform camp'... I find those things quite humorous, in a sick sort of way. It's like some kind of crazay wrong to try to change who someone is, but it's just kind of funny the way they think they can, or that it's right to try to change who someone is. It's like, the biggest contradiction to the whole 'always be proud of who you are' speeches kids receive since pre-school. Congrats on your first girlfriend! Is she, um, okay with it being a secret? That's one of the reasons I don't think I'd ever be able to date someone of my sex... Just the way I am, I'd want to keep it a secret. Not out of shame, just, well... The way I am. ...Then again, I don't think I'd want anyone to know that I was dating a guy, either... It ruins the whole butch lesbian stereotype everyone seems to think of me. =P And I usually play on that to make people freak out; I live in a quite homophobic area. Maah. I've never dated boys or girls. But seriously, that's really great! heart

stare My parents were not happy.
an d they think my sexuality is bullshit and that i only do it for attention because I'm a teenager.
But we dated for about a month and then i decided that we were better off as friends. but then NO ONE beleived me and though i did it because i was pressured to.
So basically it was all bullshit. razz neutral cry confused

Reform camp. Gawddamnit some adults suck.
Yeah basically no one on my street can know, no one I'm related to can know, and no one at my school can know. I only told one classmate and he's an in the closet gay so I'm safe there.
But I feel like shouting it from a roof ya know?

Congrats!
I've only dated once, online, with a girl. So I don't think that really counts as a true, true relationship, though I did love her more than anything.
o_o I'm scared of being on a date, or dating.
xD The thought kind of terrifies me.

xd I didn't have to tell anyone
I'd tell one of my friends and by the next day the whole damn city knew.
Most people were okay with it except my parents and a couple dumbass kids.
but our parents did their best to make it hell for us.
good luck. I hope it all goes well with you and i hope someday you can bring it out smile

Congrats. I'm kinda in the same boat as Moo. I've dated guys IRL for ages, it's no big deal anymore. However, January '06 I started talking to this girl online and I refer to her as my girlfriend to a couple people, but she doesn't want to call it dating since we've never met. I'm just like "well then convince your mom to let an out-of-town friend come visit!!!" But then the age difference dawned on me and even if that happened, we can't be in a relationship or technically even do anything online cause then I'm asking for statutory charges... in two states.. hers and mine if Mom found out about it.
Anyway!!! Congrats, and I wish you much much luck in the relationship, especially when the day comes that it doesn't have to be secret anymore! mrgreen

Congratz! that'sa step foward... now just get her to join PFLAG. SarahArden Heehee on our second date we went to the movies and outside the theatre there's this little hill-area. So we watched the clouds go by and had our first kiss whee
I'm going to ask her out in a few days 4laugh Aww... how romatic! We'll it seems that only the guys I don't know like, and to make things worst they're not my cup of tea. I've had a stalker/friend since the fifth grade and until a few months ago she got the idea that I didn't like her because I don“t like girls, it broke her heart and she became all dpressed. I've had a sort of friend with benefits relationship for a while with this guy but then he found someone in real life so I ended it so he did't have to. Hopefully this year, since I'm out (put some pictures on myspace and since I half a lot of people from school as friends you can tell everybody knows now... plus the fact that I wore eyeliner on the last day of school and carrid a mirror in my backpack) it might be easier to find someone.
