Well, yeah, but... Biblical names are very common in real life, though, so don't see why that's really notable. And the Bible is a ready source for names, too, especially if one is a regular reader, so... *shrug*

Yeah but how many people have you heard of being called Asher, or Damion, or Rafael, Jonah(Formerly a vampire hunter who sold out the cops for eternal life. He was executed by Anita in Incubus Dreams)

There's a person on TV here, in Australia, called Asher.. She's a dark skinned (maybe an Indian mix? I don't know my races lol) lady. Bit of a spaz. lol She used to host the Disney Channel afternoon show.
And, if I ever have a son, I'm arguing strongly in favour of the name Damian. But not for any biblical meaning.
Just random. biggrin

Dracorin Yeah but how many people have you heard of being called Asher, or Damion, or Rafael, Jonah(Formerly a vampire hunter who sold out the cops for eternal life. He was executed by Anita in Incubus Dreams) Not many, but a whole lot of uncommon names are Biblical as well. I mean, the U.S. is like, 90% Christian, and (if I recall correctly) one of the three major world religions. Even the weird names are going to be Biblical.
I mean, it could be intentional but... yeah. Don't wanna jump the gun.
FenrisVollmond: Seconded. Though I rather like Asher more, it would lead to mean names... at least Damian is not unheard of and would scare other kids. xD

I also like the name Cain and not for biblical reasons but because it strikes as one badass mofo xD I didn't pick up on Anita's boyfriends and thier biblical names. That's pretty neat. I also didn't know Asher was in the bible (bad girl!) and am kinda embarrased. I don't think I ever heard the name outside of the series now that I think about it.

S. Shark Well, yeah, but... Biblical names are very common in real life, though, so don't see why that's really notable. And the Bible is a ready source for names, too, especially if one is a regular reader, so... *shrug* My name's in the bible... although I heard it's spelled differently there. Wouldn't know. I've never read it. A random guy on the bus asked me, "What's your name?" "Sarah." "Oh that's pretty. Do you have a boyfriend?" "Yeah." "Aw that's too bad. My name's Abraham, and I'm looking for a Sarah... or a Sariah, actually. That's how it's originally spelled." ...odd people on the bus, I swear
