 ~Anya Test Tribe Thread~'Take my hand little one.
For we are going to sleep together.'
The Anya Tribe is a tribe devoted to the shadow's. They honor the darkness and night, and believe that a fox called the 'Shadow Fox' watches over them. They are shadow's themselves, however, they are not evil. No, only the one's who chose to be are. Will you join this tribe? Will you honor the darkness inside all of us? Or will you run away?

July 20 2007: Created story, and such. Banners are needed.
July 16 2007: Started re-doing thing's. Banners, story, etc.
Jun 26 2007: Test Tribe just started to be created, Ryoushen Finari is helping the creation of the Anya Test Tribe Thread.
August 27 2007: I MAY DESTROY THE TRIBE! No one join's, and I am starting to believe are current guild member's care not if the guild die's, so it might be destroyed. Sorry.

These rules must be followed at all times. If I find you are not following the rules, you will be banned from the tribe for a certain amount of time, or maybe forever.
+ Mail me before you get any new modifications, so that I can approve of it.
+ Don't rp with only one person on the thread, there are other's to.
+ Keep it PG 16.
+ Apply before you post. Then you may post, even if I don't reply. If I do reply and say you may not join, stop posting and leave. Or, if I don't reply in a week, give me a friendly reminder.
+ My (Yushika) and Ryoushen Finari's word's are law.
+ Mail me before having a fox mate, so I know.

+ Respect other people foxes.

~Story~
'What happens when you do not listen to the light?
What happens when the darkness coaxes you?'
Before there was the land of the Anya Tribe, there was darkness. Nothing was there, only pure darkness. If one stepped into the shadow's, they would disappear. It was just how thing's were. Foxes never questioned why there was pitch blackness in the ground,. They never questioned why there was a hole in the earth where land was supposed to be. They just lived there life, allowing the forgotten darkness to live it's.
However there was one tribe who wouldn't settle with it's own large land, named the RainyMist's Tribe. They wanted the darkness, for unknown reason's. But the elder knew that normal foxes could not go in, and decided to send a kit in there. A black kit with green eye's was sent into the land, forced to leave her mother. A week later, the tribe died out.
Foxes learned of this, and raised there kit's to fear the land. Calling it a demon land, telling stories of how bad little kit's were eaten by the blackness. But one kit didn't listen to her mother. Her name, was Unai.
The kit lived to disobey her mother, refusing to leave the stories alone, digging into the stories, attempting to find the lies. She wanted nothing more then to go into the darkness, and see what had become of the foxes who had been lost there.
And one day, she did.
The kit grew up, living with her brother's and sister's in peace, until she left them all, the family spilt to live there own life, and she did the same. Unai traveled much, until she came upon the dark land. The place she had wanted to go, forever. The stories were true, nothing was there. Only the darkness. Only the flickering black. Only the dark.
Unai stood before the land, watching it, watching the mass hole that had been said to be nothing. To be nothing at all but empty space. One paw reached out, a muzzle extended towards the dark, and Unai vanished. She had stepped into the forgotten land.
She had disappeared.
Unai saw nothing, at first, she thought she was dead. That the darkness had swallowed her whole and let her die. But, then she came to the conclusion she was alive still, and was to float here forever. That she was going to stay, eternally floating.
But this was thrown aside as she saw green eye's watching her, flickering, waiting, wanting. She shuddered as the eye's closed, and vanished. Then re-appeared beside her, and Unai thought she had seen the faintest of a outline of a body. The eye's narrowed, and she felt a tongue on her cheek.
"You taste like the other's. Like the other vermin." Came a hiss, rolled like a snake. "Why are you here?" It hissed again, the eye's disappearing. Unai didn't respond, she had heard stories that if you spoke once you were in the dark land, you would die.
"I am waiting for a answer, vermin." The eye's hissed, they had settled themselves in front of her. Unai flicked her tail, reluctant to speak. Bearer of the eyes hissed again, angry."If you do not speak, I shall kill you." Came the angry voice. Unai shuddered, silently accepting defeat. She didn't want to die, she wanted to live.
"I am here to claim this land, and create forth land to put a paw on. To create a tribe. To become the first fox on the land that shall be created." Unai declared, lifting her head proudly. The eye's flickered, mocking her. Unai snarled, snapping her jaw's at the eyes. 'How dare someone mock a person they do not know!' Unai thought, growling as she leaped forward, and she lost the hard ground that she thought had been there
She had fallen. Like the other foxes.
Twisting as she felt her body plummet, Unai yelped as she felt something tangle itself around her, sharp needle's could be felt. They were thorns. But what would plant life be doing in such a dead place? Water could be heard, shimmering color's flashed threw the darkness. And she saw the bearer of the eye's.
A black fox, large. Female. Green eye's flickered, a hint of yellow in them. Her fur had small white marks, like scars, yet they weren't. The fox was larger then most foxes. Unai let out a cry as the fox walked forward, but there was no ground! Or, that could be seen, at least.
"They all have said the same thing. My family, the foxes that came here, and you." The fox hissed. Unai shuddered as she saw the ground turn a faint green, grass. The fox snapped at her, demanding to be looked at, and Unai looked up. The sky was filling, turning a soft blue. The land was alive!
"If you can show me what makes you different, I shall allow this land to be yours." The fox hissed. Unai wrapped her tail around her body as she sat on her haunches, sighing. "What is your name?" She asked first, she wanted to know this large fox's name. The fox flicked her tail amused. "That is not important. I will tell you one thing, I am a shadow. A fox that lives in the shadow's, living in darkness itself." She replied. Unai's ear's went back. That had been a cheesy answer.
"Alright, oh great darkness fox. What would prove I am worthy?" She asked, she had no respect for the fox that had almost killed her several times, and was looking at her as if she was a idiot. The fox smiled, finally.
"A riddle." The fox replied. Unai hissed suddenly, how easy! Was this how the other foxes died, losing to a riddle? Well, it couldn't be that hard. Riddle's were simple word's switched around to create a image, nothing more."Alright." She replied simply.
"It is very easy, it's sad foxes haven't figured it out." Warned the fox. Unai didn't care. She wanted the riddle. "Also, dear. I can hear your thoughts." The fox said, causing Unai to blink in surprise.
"I am only a mere thought.
A reality treadles.
And yet people mistake me for reality.
I am soulless, yet considered a new life.
What am I? '
Unai searched the fox as she patiently awaited the answer. The riddle, seemed so easy. But in doing so, it seemed hard. What if it was meant to be a different answer, and tricking a fox into thinking it is something else? And her life was depending on it, if she answered wrong, then her life would fade. And this world, that was developing in front of her eye's, would go back into black. Into shadows. Riddles were meant to make another piece the word's into a image. Yet serval images went threw her head. Which were right? She had a idea on which it was, but was she ready to say it? Was she ready to risk the possibility of losing her life to a mere word? The answer was, yes. She was.
"A dream." Unai replied. The fox raised her head, and Unai feared for a second she was wrong, and awaited the blow. However the fox flicked her tail, and leaped from the rock that had formed under her.
"Correct.' She stated, rubbing her tail on Unai as if she could rub the fact that Unai had the correct answer back to her. Unai yelped as she saw the world burst forth into more color's, the lake ahead shimmering until every color was in it's waters. The forest sang out odd noises. Bird's fluttered about. She had done yet, her. The fox who had been scowled at for merely talking about this place.
"Call the tribe you create, Anya. If you do not create a tribe, or name it that, I will destroy this land." The fox said, flicking her tail, Unai replied quickly. "I came here to create life, to create a home for foxes. To start a tribe, and I will not do it only because you tell me to." She said, wanting to make sure the fox knew she was doing it on her will, and not being a coward. The fox just grinned slightly, and started walking to the forest.
"Where are you going?" Unai demanded. The fox turned, looking at her with narrowed eye's. "This forest, deep inside it I shall live. Come to me only in dire need, or you'll regret it.' She said, half answering Unai's question, and turned to leave again.
"What is your name?" Unai asked, a question she had demanded before.
"I am the Shadow Fox, aiding the shadow's. Telling them what to do. I must go, don't ask me another question. Light is coming, and I cannot be here when it rises." The fox replied, and left into the forest later named Song Forest.
And Unai was left alone. To name the land, to create a home.
To start a tribe.

The Anyian foxes worship the shadow's. They hunt only at night when the shadow's have devoured everything, they only sleep when it's morning, and all ceremonies are held at night. Kit's are named when the moon is high above the Deathly Fog Swamp's tree's. Bury only there dead when they moon has shown it's reflection in the Lake Shimmering.
The Anyian foxes worship also the image of the Shadow Fox, a creature that is said to live deep in the Song Forest where the darkness never flees. Before each holiday is honored, the elder must thank the Shadow Fox for food, shelter, and healthy tribe members. It's said if the elder forgets, death will wash over the tribe.
Certain tattoo's are not allowed, sun and light, and fire tattoo's are shunned, for they mock the shadow's, destroying them. ~Modifications~
The tribe tattoo is above. The foxes use this as a reminder of what they worship, and for it is the symbol in which the 'Shadow fox' is said to bear. All foxes must have this tattoo when they join.
Mail me (Yushika) before getting a new tattoo. Sun, fire and light tattoo's are forbidden.

~Explanation of ranks~
Elders-> Only one's who can pray to the Higher being's. Every discussion must be agreed by the Elders, there can be more then one. They are the tribe's leader's basically.
Hunters-> Hunter's are the one's who bring food in for the tribe. They must be a good hunter to be one. (Of course)
Shaman-> Heals any sick foxes, or injured. The medicine fox.
Gather-> Helps hunter's take home kills, and gathers herb's and such for shaman's.
Scout-> Gathers information, and passes information to other tribes when told to.
Carer-> Takes care of kit's, and makes sure no harm sees them. They are responsible for babysitting and protecting the kit's.
Tribe member-> Can help with any of the above, however mostly focus on breeding and modifications.

~The Land~ "Where I live,
Is where I die.'
The tribe land is vastly huge. On the south side, is two lakes called "Lake Cloud" and "Lake Shimmering". Lake Cloud is named after how it seems to reflect every single cloud in the sky. Foxes can tell weather pattern's by how the lake's currents move. Lake Shimmerings name was created after how many colors of the rainbow can be seen. In the north, is a swamp called the 'Deathly Fog Swamp" for at night, a fog settles in that if any fox breath's in, a poison will enter it's body.
In the west lies a huge plain where the tribe mostly stays about. It is called "Shadow Plains" for many shadow's seem to dance it's surface. Large bird's descend here to watch the foxes. The spiky tree's are a great place to hide kit's in.
And in the east, lies a large forest where hunter's and shaman's go to collect food, or herb's. It's name is 'Song Forest" for many bird's lie there, and sing there soft melody's. Also, a large river goes threw it, unnamed.

~Celebrations~'Let's all play.
Until the day end's.'
Feburay 14: A day when all foxes confess to the one they love how they feel about them, and play games all day.The Elder shall pray to the Higher Being's for eternal love throught the tribe, and peace to be spreaded.
April 1st: Most of the adult's ingore this day competely, but the kit's don't! On April Fool's day, the kit's attempt to drive the fellow member's crazy! The Elder usually tell Carer's on this day to take all the kit's out to Shimmering Lake and have them play near there. Despite how they try, the kit's always seem to cause trouble!
June 26: This day is a day for the foxes to work hard gathering food in the daytime, and at nightime, all the foxes have a huge feast! This celebration was created to honor the day the tribe was created!
October 31st: This is the day the Elder leave's the tribe when it is daytime, to pray to the 'Shadow fox". While she is gone, the rest of the tribe work's hard to gather much food and sweet berries. When she come's back,(at nightime) a party awaits her! The kit's are allowed to go in the forest and search for sweet berries to eat, with only one carerto watch them. The adult's relax and tell scary stories to one another. Halloween is a big deal in this tribe!
December 25th: On Christmas, the adult's leave while the kit's are asleep, leaving behind the carer's who watch them. When the kit's awake, the adult's come back, with sweet berries that only are around in winter, and give it to the kit's. Much sharing go's on in the tribe. Around midnight, the Elder lead's the tribe around the tribe ground's, taking anything sweet they can find.

Unai trotted threw the 'Song Forest'. Her eye's locked on a bunny not to far away. She wasn't a hunter, but right now, she needed food. Badly. Quickly, she leapt onto the bunny, her grey fur blended into the rain that was pouring. Her black paws and tail and muzzle stood out brightly though. Snarling, she ripped at the creature before her paw's. It's life fluttered like a candle, and blew out.

Eriol and Kushana walked through the Song Forest, they both thought it was a beautiful place. They appreciated the shadows and the forest, the union of the two was spectacular. They had been traveling for a week or so, with little or no food. They could hear the life in the forest and they hungered for it. They stopped for a moment, they spotted a bear cub, normally this would be too hard of a meal to get, along with more meat than one fox could handle, but there was two of them.
Eriol motioned for Kushana to move to the other side of the careless bear. As Kushana moved, they heard a few branches breaking in the distance, there was another fox. The bear heard it to and looked up. Kushana and Eriol froze in place, hopefully their natural camoflouge would keep them hidden. The bear went back to playing, he sensed no danger. Kushana nodded her head, they both sprang onto the bear. Kushana grabbing its back with her claws, and Eriol snapping it's neck as he pounced.
"Well, this should be a good meal." Eriol said happily.
"Yes it will." Kushana replied.
"Let's bring it with us and find the other fox that's out here."
"Ok." Kushana took one of the bears legs in her mouth and Eriol by it's neck. About a minute later they spotted another fox, it was a girl, mostly gray with a black muzzle and paws.
"Hello there." Kushana said as she put down the bear cub.

Unai looked up, the bunny inbetween her paw's. Suprise ran threw her face, but quickly was replaced with a freindly attuide. "Hello. Who are you?" She asked, tilting her head and sitting on her catch. The bear cub in there paw's made her shocked. They were good hunters.
