The lack of same-sex marriage in America is a blatant example of ignoring it's own rules and neglecting a division of people based purely on religion and own lack of maturity.

Marriage - Deamed a private affair by state. So, why is it gays should need to ask to marry? Doesn't make sense.
Religion - Is supposed to be apart from the state. Supposedly rolleyes You'll notice religeous fanatics aren't pro-gay. Which is another thing...
If they're supposedly going to be damned to a world of inferno and pain, why can't you let them have their marital bliss now?

I personally think it's more of people going "Eeww" to such things. I'm not even gay, I'm hardly bi, but I don't need to be to see a double standard.

Wrong as all of this is, there is a freedom of religeon in America, and that's what's keeping this off the books. =/ State+Religeon = No-no for Bek, but apparantly good for eveyone else

At the same time, being a straight girl as I am I can see how people find it kinda weird. It's just awkward. Seein' to guys makin' out? If you're not a yaoi fangirl, you're likely freaked out. But I'm no more irked by two of the same gender people kissing in front of me than I am by hetero couples. They both need to get a room.

well i think marriage is wrong altogether because people that get married fight to much then alot of them hate each other being gay just means no kids im not sure if thats good or bad but i myself am straight all the way but i say let them marry so they to can feel the hell most people go through it doesn't matter if gay people get married because if you not gay you don't have to worry cause your not marrying the same sex its just a matter of preference and most people aren't gay so they don't want to see other people gay its that simple

My religion believes that homosexuality is a sin. I agree as I believe my religion. However, going by our own constitution, I don't think there is really an argument against it.
I hate when politicians and speakers stand up and use as their argument, against gay marriage, religion. Personal and religious morals are not an argument as there is freedom of religion, and not everyone will agree with you. And there is separation of church and state. No one is making a good argument against it.
Best argument I have heard against it was made as a joke by my friend. Gay people have a higher divorce rate (basicly...can't really get divorced legally if you are not married lol.) so if you allow gay marriage it would hold up divorce courts even more than they already are.
I would like someone to make a better argument than "it's evil and wrong" lol.
