.Hack//Fragment, A game already in japan, Can be played either ofline - where you play with computer controled characters, and Online - where you play with human controled characters. During online play, you can create a character and changing name, gender, profession, and even appearence! You can create guilds, send messages, and read new on the game as well! And you don't pay a monthly fee either. But their's a catch - game play takes place on an "area sever", which runs on your PC. When using the PC, You can create dungeons and areas too.
Sound like a good .Hack game to wait for?

It's not leaving Japan. They closed down all of the servers and informed us that they won't be sending it anywhere else, including the states.
At least, that's what I heard. I really wanted to play it.

I dunno, I heard it sucked really bad, and that they closed down the servers because it was really laggy and few people wanted to play it.

Oh, Really? I wanted to play. But If it's bad japan, the it'll be bad in usa.
Maybe they'll make a real .hack computer game! an online one.

I've waited forever to find out about that game only to find out it won't be released (I heard about it being announced at E3). We was very disappointed. gonk
But last I talked about it with a friend, she told me it wasn't even released in Japan either because it started to become complicated, or something. Is that true?

Fragment bombed in Japan, so it'll never come to the U.S.
Woulda been fun to try out, though. Even if it did suck.

Hopefully someday there will be an actual MMORPG The World, but this is definitely not the one...
Though I admit I'm intrigued in the offline capacity.
(At the very least making a The World character would entertain me biggrin )
