Gawyn stood still, nose in the air, getting his bearings. He knew after last night he should have just stopped and waited, until the sense that had driven him thus far returned.
The young wolf had started his journey in Abar-eadhain, where he assumed he had been born. He had felt the need to go north, and so he had. He'd yet to find any reason for it, but most days he felt the need to kepp traveling. Today was not a day of need.
He was also fully disoriented. He knew he was somewhere between the Abar region, for the great forest was no longer insight and he had yet to see Feileadh Woods, so he must still be south of it.
Still unsure of where exactly he was headed, his dreams were often haunted by dark trees, and sometimes a clear voice that urged him to keep going. He had yet to meet anyone else on his journey, but was interested to find out who else lived in the region he was heading through, mostly to find out where, exactly he was.
But for just now, he decided to sit down right where he was and wait. Good things generally did happen to thsoe who wait. Or at least he remembered hearing that once.

 Lilith wandered, humming to herself as she went, enjoying her own peacefulness per usual. She came very close to ignoring the male wolf she walked past as she went on her merry way.
The fact that she gave him a nod to achknowledge his existince in itself was amazing really. It wasn't Lilith's style... because frankly, she didn't particularily care. However, he looked lost, so she decided he deserved that much.
She just hoped he ignored her further than that, and took that much as a compliment. Unlike him, she wasn't going anywhere except for wherever she felt like going next, as per usual.
Good things happened to those who waited? That wasn't even on Lilith's radar.

He was used to odd behaviour, but being out right ignored? Now he was interested. He bounded to his feet, and trotted a bit to catch up to the little she-wolf. He easily kept pace with her, not saying anything. After her seeming dismissal of him, he wanted her to be the first one to speak. And it wasn't really in his nature to be the one to break the ice, anyhow.
He began to wonder about her, and wonder if she wondered about him. It lead him in a circle in his head, and left a small, lopsided grin on his face. He knew she'd break soon, and say something.

Lilith kept humming and essentially ignored the male wolf that was following her. Truth be told, he didn't interest her in the slightest... as wolves generally didn't, unless they spoke to her first. Then she could talk until the cows came home.
Otherwise, who cares? They didn't matter to her. She formed no attachment to anyone. It didn't matter to her. Nope. She could enjoy herself perfectly well... completely ignoring anyone around her. He wasn't about to attack her, so she didn't even react to him now.

Now he was just down right interested. Someone who could outlast him in the silent game? That was a rare day. Not that he met that many other wolves. But they were usually the talkative ones. But her? No, she was odd.
"You win. Who are you?" Judging by her actions, tact wasn't a big issue with her. Well aware of what seemed to be complete neutrality between them, he didn't feel in the least threatened. Not that the she-wolf could really over power him in a fight, he thought.

"Huh?" Lilith asked, sitting down abruptly and tilting her head to the side, "Win? Win what? I wasn't playing a game? Who are you?" She just sat there for a secod, the she spoke again, "I'm Lilith by the way."
Another passing stranger. Lilith had seen plenty, and they rarely impressed her. It was just her way. She liked being alone for the most part. Meeting another wolf every now and the was... cool. But not something she liked to do all the time. Once a year was fine with her. If that.

"The silent game. Even if you didn't know you were playing, you were. And I don't lose it. But I did this time. To you. " He gave her an appraising gaze, and remained standing. There certainly must be a reason behind her general aloofness.
"I'm Gawyn. Do you know where this is?" Perhaps an odd question, but he assumed he looked lost enough to pull it off.

"Not a clue," Lilith shrugged, not really getting the whole silent-game thing. She just usually didn't get the oppertunity to talk, so it wasn't hard for her not to. In the beginning, "I don't travel to get somewhere, I just go in the direction that looks coolest."
Which was true. She didn't care where she went. She always ended up somewhere cool.

"Oh. Darn. I thought you might know. Ah well. " He really wished the feeling was back today. Last time he lost he, he'd gone in the wrong direction for two days. Then there was that time he'd tried to not go with the feeling, and it just hadn't worked.
He lapsed back into silence, staring at the horizon, looking slightly dejected.

"What? You're actually trying to go somewhere? Why on this dirt would you want to do that?" Lilith actually sounded offended by that statment. It was just... wierd to her. She didn't even know that places had names.
Well, she knew, but she didn't think about it. It wasn't important. Names. Her name was... still not on her top ten important things.

"Dunno why. Dunno where, beyond the fact it isn't here. I've just gotta go. I'm not even sure I want to. It wasn't important before the dreams, but it is now. You ever have dreams like that? Where you know they mean something?"
He wasn't the least offened or taken a-back by her tone. She seemed like a wanderer. Some wolves just didn't have the spirit to go somewhere and stay.

Lilith just blinked and stared before she came up with the only semi-knowing phrase she could come up with, "Huh...?"
Honestly, she hadn't. She had no idea what he was talking about. That didn't even make sense. A dream? What did dreams have to do with anything? Except that they happened when she slept... but aside from that, it never really occured to her that she should care.

Gawyn shrugged. He had figured that dreams liek his didn't happen to everyone. " Like I said, I dunno. I just know that one night I had a dream, and ever since, I've just had to keep moving north, or it doesn't feel right."
He looked down at his paws, and then the ground below them. Somewhere, out beyond the horizon was where he was going. He hoped. He constantly considered what would happen if there wasn't that somewhere.

That need again. Lilith detested the idea of having to do anything, for no reason other than feelings that told you to do so. Stupid. On so many levels, stupid.

"Oh, I don't think anyone expects it of me. But I expect it of myself." He smiled briefly. At first, he had tried to fight the pull, but the pull had won out. Whether it was coming from inside himself, or from something or someone else, he felt like he owed it to himself to find out exactly what it was.
